Say what you will about Mayweather's inactivity and the abilities of his opponents (I.E. Too small, Too Old, Too pale etc,.) but in his last three fights, he has fought P4P Elites.

    Hatton - Top 10 P4P

    Marquez - Top 5 P4P

    Mosley - Top 5 P4P

Judging by that record, he is going right back to a Top 10 guy whenever he comes back.

Indeed. Which is why I believe Mayweather will come back and fight Martinez.

Baldomir was top 100 P4P, which is awesome.
De La Hoya was P4P ranked like 10 years before Mayweather fought him.

You are right, he fights really good fighters!

Mosley and Hatton fights were fine, but Marquez had no business at 147, regardless of his p4p spot. If he took it as a tune up, fine. But its not a good win.

One P4P is a mythical opinion based ranking.

                Two P4P is not a weight-class.

So in reality P4P doesn't really matter. Is just a fun list to debate about that is it.

                    Actually no correction necessary.

I was speaking in broad terms, that Hatton was Top 10 P4P guy, I didn't say he was # 10.

I knew that Marquez was in the Top 5, I didn't say that he was # 5.

I knew that Mosley was somewhere in the Top 5 but didn't bother looking it up, I didn't say he was # 5.
