You have it the other way around: It was Sanders who dropped the belt to not face Wlad again. That's why Sanders won the WBO belt (from Wlad) but fought for the WBC belt (against Vitali). Instead of risking to be avenged he went for the chance to be the first man to win against both Klitschkos.

    Lennox Lewis is _IMPRESSIVE_.

But I have seen NOTHING WHATSOEVER that would impress me about Haye. Haye needed 9 rounds of rabbit punching to TECHNICALLY knockout John Ruiz while being at the same time jabbed nearly at will by Ruiz at several times.

Maybe Haye will impress me against Chagaev (although I think he will fight Toney or Holyfield).

And Rahman, he went down like a sack of potatoes and failed to beat the count, something Wlad has never failed to do, even in Wlad's worst ever night against Sanders he got up. Lewis would maybe start favourite, but if Wlad landed a shot like the one that had Eddie Chambers in hospital it's over for Lewis.
Or if he happened to cut Lennox with an illegal shot maybe.

        Here's Lennox's "suspect" chin:

Getting wobbled and hurt is not uncommon in the HW division, especially when you're fighting the types of fighters Lennox fought. That he was only stopped twice (McCall stoppage was premature IMO) speaks volumes for his durability, defence, ring smarts, and recovery abilities.

How is it pathetic? Lennox was one of the best heavies of all time and physically and stylistically a nightmare for Wlad. There's a similarly one sided thread involving Lennox and Frazier also, with Lennox coming out on top. Care to say that Frazier is a "pathetic bump"?

Exactly, you can't say Lewis avoided punchers.

Wlad now imo would batter lennox as he would batter any heavyweight ever...

IMO the best heavyweights ever are wlad, vitali, lennox lewis and hollyfield with rocky with an honorable mention.

These guys fought true heavyweights wheras tyson etc just fought tomato cans...

Evander Holyfield is in the BOTTOM of weakest punching heavyweight champs of all time. Wlad is at the TOP. Evander scored 4 KOs in real heavyweight championships, Wlad scored 14. Don't even compare these two.

No opponent compares to Wlad or Lennox. You can not deduct your chances against Wlad or Lennox by using another opponent as a blueprint. NOBODY compares to Wlad, Vitali or Lennox.

No he won't. Lewis is better in every single aspect of boxing. And he'll beat Wlad every day of the week and twice on Sunday.

Lewis was just as technical as Wlad. Lewis was a better fighter and not as cautious as Wlad(even though LL had a few snoozers). Lewis had more power and was more agressive. Add that to the fact that he fought ALOT better fighters than Wlad and his resume is way better than Wlads. Exactly in what area would Wlad have an advantage? Lewis was just as good boxing wise as Wlad, difference is he wasn't as much of a safety first fighter and went for knockouts early from time to time(which wlad never ****in does) and he proved himself against alot better opposistion.
