Wlad vs Lewis

Please note that Vitali's face (after the Lewis fight) is a proof of Vitali's bad defense (he keeps his left too low, especially for ATGs like Lennox thus his LEFT side of the face got battered).
Wlad fights nothing of the sort + hits harder than Vitali + is more experienced than Vitali AND than Lennox. Wlad has never been knocked down flush thus Wlad has much better chances against Lennox than Vitali.
ADDITIONALLY Wlad never cuts. His only cuts (in nearly 60 fights) were by headbutts.
ADDITIONALLY (since this thread is about p4p) Lennox chin is a questionmark. He wasn't KOed by Vitali but that was Lennox' highest weight thus his chin might have been better whereas in his prime he got flush TKOed by McCall and Rahman who ARE FAR FROM being the hardest punchers.
Thus you would need to compare Wlad's prime (= now) with Lennox prime (= possibly chinny).
It would be the toughest fight in Lennox career.Last edited by hweightblogger; 01-09-2011, 04:58 PM.Comment

No, Steward said that Wlad is better but Lewis is more talented. Whatever these mysterious words mean.

Wlad was a 22 y/o kid when he ran out gas vs Purrity, what was Lewis doing at 22? Still an amateur and nowhere near ready. Good points YOU make pal.
Lewis wasn't perfect, several of his ring performances were lacklustre. Wlad can win this fight.Comment

Lennox Lewis of course.
A prime Wlad is hard to guage though. His physical prime was back when he was battering the likes of Mercer and Shufford, but it was also the time when he suffered two of his most embarrassing defeats. Current Wlad is slower of hand and less of an offensive machine but much less likely to get caught or gas himself out. A prime Lennox is hard to gauge as well, and due to his sometimes lax training habits he sometimes struggled against guys he really shouldn't have struggled with. I feel confident though that the Lennox of the late nineties, early 2000s who took out Briggs, Golota, Grant, Botha, Rahman etc with such ease would do current Wlad in by around the ninth or tenth round, a young Wlad earlier than that. Wlad of today has got the better, crisper technique and the marginally faster hands, but Lennox is simply a tougher, gutsier, meaner fighter, and had a far more varied arsenal which he was more willing to take risks to hurt you with (though young Wlad had a very varied arsenal himself). He'd also be one of the biggest and hardest punchers Wlad's ever faced, and I have a hard time seeing Wlad establish his jab when Lennox is constantly throwing big rights hands over the top of it. He'd have a bit of success on the outside, but he'd also find himself getting pushed back to the ropes the way his brother was, and taking punishment in the clinch. I don't think Wlad's chin is as bad as people say it is, but no way does he take a shot from Lennox without getting hurt, and Lennox would be landing more than one in this fight. I generally give Wlad a pretty good chance in most hypothetical machups, but in this case prime Lennox just has too much for him to deal with.Comment

They are both similar style-wise. Difference is, Lewis is better in every single way.
Only dumbass klit-ite pice of **** fans would seriosly think Wlad can take this.Comment
