All I SEE on your list is 3 fighters Lennox failed to retire... but i tell you what I DO SEE...2 fighters Vitali retired & don't forget the solid Klitschko did for Tyson's CONQUERORS BY SPLATTERing Danny WILLIAMS all over the ring & teeing off on Lennox to the point where the closest you see Lennox in the ring these days is commentating on Vitali's fights. Think about how safe he felt when he called the Kevin Johnson fight.

I'm a Lewis fan and I JUST rewatched the Lewis-Klitschko fight.

I had Vitali 4 rounds to 2 up (58-56) at the time of the stoppage.

But that does not detract from the fact that punches from Lewis opened up the cuts on Vitali's face. Therefore Lewis should get full credit for stopping Vitali.

If there was a role reversal (where Lewis had been stopped on cuts despite being ahead on points) people would give Vitali mad props for beating Lewis regardless of the fact that he was losing the fight until the stoppage.

The fight should have been stopped earlier IMO, the cut was brutal. Vitali couldn't see out of his eye, which caused him to lose round 6 IMO.

If Lewis was in shape (had a proper training camp and didn't have 2 weeks notice) then he wouldn't have gassed and would have been throwing his jab more often and with greater effect. He would also have landed his right hand more often and would have hurt Vitali more, possibly cutting him badly again. Lewis' punch resistance would have also been better had he been in shape.

Lewis WON the fight.

If Vitali was losing the fight 4 rds to 2 & then won the fight on cuts.... i would not think it's a legitimate win & would be greatly disappointed in his performance. Now if he promised a rematch that everyone wanted to see because of unfinished businessed & then went back on his word...guess who would be an ex-Klitschko fan. Another example of a fight stopped because of a hideous head & facial injury was the Holyfield vs Rahman fight. Rahman lost that fight & NOT because he couldn'y continue.. he lost it because Holy was landing the bigger blows & controlling the fight.

The fighter who was winning the fight ACTUALLY WON THE fight... yes the head injury was caused by a Holy ACCIDENTAL HEADBUTT but still doesn't change the fact he was beating Rahman in similar fashion to the way VK was beating LEWIS. Only difference in this case is that the fighter who was losing wound up winning because it didn'y go to the scorecards like the Holyfield fight did,

I don't care what anyone says.. Lewis didn't deserve to win that night because of an accidental cut. Vitali did more than enough to deserve the victory but had it snatched away by a medical decision. I'm sorry I DON'T CALL an accidental cut on top of the eye a W for the opponent when he was being outboxed & outslugged in every way. If the fight;s decision was based on what happened in the ring & solely based on that it'd be VK by unanimous decision.

The decision was based on facial lacerations where the fighter afflicted with them was still holding his own & competing. He wasn't getting pummeled or anything like that..so yes it's a tainted win & forever will be one. Lewis fans just can't or will never admit who the better man in terms of boxing skills was that night & i'm fine with that, The people who witnessed the fight at the Staples CeNTER LIVE showed what they thought of the outcome. This was NOT a normal TKO under any circumstances & for people to suggest it's the norm is beyond ludicrous..Most fights that are stopped on cuts or severe injury..the guy suffering the injury is getting beaten up,,this wasn;t the case at all.
