Do you give Haye a reasonable shot at beating Wlad?

He has a chance. And too be honest he will give Klitschko a better fight than any of his last few opponents. I want to see how how Wlad will react when Haye lands a bomb on his chin, will he jab his way out of trouble or will he actually take some risks and have a real tear-up with Haye?Comment

If Adam Booth can figure out how to take away/negate Wlad's jab then we'll have a really interesting fight.Comment

The only mismatch bigger than Wlad-Haye is Steward-Booth when it comes to tactics and preparation.
Steward has been crafting world champions since Booth was ****ting in his diapers.Comment

i asked myself the same question, but then i realized that wladimir has never been counted out...He has a chance. he got KO'd because of his bad stamina, if he shows up in a tip top shape like he did the last 5-6years, then haye's chances of knocking him out in the early rounds are very slim.
haye has to outpunch him imo to win this fight, thats the only way, and nobody outpunched wladimir so far.
its gonna be a tough fight for haye, i give him a 20% chance, and that only because i am in a really good mood right now.Last edited by Schmerzen; 12-29-2010, 07:57 AM.Comment

Haye is never going to land a bomb on Wlad. Either Haye runs all night trying to survive to a decision, and gets KTFO late, or he opens up and gets KTFO early. You mst have forgot Haye is as chinny as Wlad, if not more, and Wlad is better at every other department. He has a chance. I don't think I've ever given Haye a more than 30% chance to win, even after the Ruiz fight which I thought was his most impressive performance at Heavyweight to date. He simply possesses far too many flaws that Wlad can and will exploit for me to give him anything more than a puncher's chance, and even that chance is slim. However the fight's more interesting than it looks on paper due to the magnitude of the event. Haye will know he has the weight of a nation behind him, plus he'll be exposed to a ton of hype and press building up to the fight, and a whole host of other things that will no doubt serve to swell his ego to bursting point. How that affects him I don't know. He's handled it pretty well so far, and obviously loves being the centre of attention, so this could serve to endow him with a false sense of destiny, causing him to raise his game a few notches. Wlad, on the other hand, who clearly hates Haye's guts, might fight out of character in an effort to punish Haye and leave himself vulnerable. Not that I think these things are going to happen. Quite the opposite actually. Wlad may have been flaky in the past but of late he's shown a pretty cool and professional outlook to fights, and seems almost unshakable no matter the games his opponents play to put him off. If anything it's Haye that strikes me as the type of fighter that would let the occasion get to him, try to go for an early knockout (his only chance really) and end up crapping himself. Like I said, I expect Wlad to win big. I'm just throwing a few possible extra parameters into the equation in an effort to cover all bases.Comment
