Do you give Haye a reasonable shot at beating Wlad?

The people who say Haye has "faster feet" obviously don't know what they are talking about.

Haye's footwork is terrible. He makes mistakes with his feet that a decent technical amateur does not. When he moves, he runs, he cannot use his footwork to do anything special. Haye is constantly off balance and reaching with punches. He squares up his feet when he falls forward with his right hands and the only time he uses his footwork to avoid punches is by all out running. He doesn't have the ability to hit an opponent and then move around him to the side and hit him again.

Klitschko on the other hand is always on balance, always in a good fighting stance and uses his efficient footwork to cover the distance in a deceptively fast manner. When he moves back he is positioned to punch, when he moves forward he is positioned to punch. He is always in a good fighting stance with his hands in a position where they are ready to punch.

Whether Haye is "faster" is irrelevent because his movement is so dreadfully inefficient and amateurish that Wlad will have no problem controlling the distance and tempo of the fight.

If he uses the Valuev strategy he knocks Wlad out. Valuevs Chin is Iron and Haye made him do the ***** dance. A shot like that would kill WLad. Haye should start a little earlier this time, maybe rounds 10 or 11.

I see a scenario where Haye loses 10 rounds due to inactivity but wins by knockout late.

And what do you think Wlad's going to be doing all that time? Because he's certainly not just going to be standing there doing nothing. He's going to be jabbing, pressuring, timing, measuring, in short all the things he always does. Haye, meanwhile, is going to be forced to skip around the ring, bobbing, weaving, clinching when he finds himself trapped. That stuff takes it out of you, and even if he makes it to the tenth or eleventh he's going to be absolutely exhausted, not to mention the cumulative damage his face will be suffering from all the jabs he'll have eaten. Haye caught Valuev a grand total of once in the twelth, as a result of Valuev being flat-footed and unable to get out of the way. Do you honestly think a Wlad who's got the measure of his man is even going to be there to get caught? Your plan for Haye is absolute suicide, and the least likely scenario I can ever see unfolding.

0% Chance. If Haye thought so highly of his chances, he would have already fought Wlad instead of backing out with a fake injury in 2009 ROBBING 61,000 fans out of a fight they paid to see. This fight is already over. Haye is looking to cash out, and get the best deal possible. Not a bad idea from a business standpoint, because he stands ZERO chance of beating either Klitshcko brother.

              We will see.

As long as Haye has respect for Wlad's speed he should do fine... Wlad has an extra gear that he uses to surprise opponents, other than that he is pretty much a predictable robot.

I wouldn't even give him six rounds to be honest. He has a window of about two rounds max to make it happen, or it doesn't happen at all. None of Wlad's last few opponents landed anything of significance on him beyond this point except for Thompson and he still got outboxed and KOed. And with Haye's fragility and stamina problems he's not going to be in any fit state to land anything if he even makes it to the later rounds. This is going to look an awful lot like Lewis Tyson all over again.

So why has nobody been able to figure him out in ten fights now? You'd think at least world class boxers like Ibragimov or Chagaev would have been able to do something, or how about Chambers who was outboxing Povetkin? None of these fighters landed a punch of significance on Wlad but were instead broken down and beaten. Wlad may fight in a pretty repetitive fashion but don't make the mistake that he's predictable, because he's not. Predictable would be Shane Mosley who gets outboxed by every decent boxer he fights because he only knows one way to fight. Predictable would be Kelly Pavlik or Arthur Abraham or Tavouris Cloud. Wlad doesn't belong with those guys.

I'd give him a 10% chance. In order to beat Wlad, you'll have to take some punishment. And I don't like Haye chances, his chin won't hold up. I expect a ko by Wlad.

Actually he was labeled a "journey man" coming into that fight. His only real exposure up until that fight was against Rahman, who stopped him in 7. From what I remember he was literally a part time fighter. Just because he exposed Wlad's biggest flaw doesn't mean he was a contender or a world beater.
