I agree there are weight classes for a reason also all Marquez recent victories have been guys that stand in front off him basically all suited to his style of fighting.

yeah...Marquez doesn't stand a chance against the top fighters above 135.... he was easily hit and battered after the fight against a loser and one dimensional Katsidis at 135 who was KO by old Casamayor and beaten by bum diaz(5losses of his last 6fights)..Both Casa and Diaz lost to Marquez and Marquez still fought loser Katsidis...Marquez did not prove anything fighting Katsidis,,,
how much more against top fighters at higher weight???

Marquez has no business above 135 and should stay at 135 and fight Soto, Guerrero and Rios.....or have a rematch with Chris John at 130....

som of u guys piss me off about berto its like yall dont get the positive but only the negative dumb fks he mention wanting to fight cotto but some of u only c the name jmm which is not a bad fight for him. tell pac to fight jmm and stop hiding behind his promoter then berto wouldnt have to call him out beside arum want jmm to fight berto just to get to manny to measure how good jmm really is and to continue to measure mayweather one sided fight against jmm that pac couldnt do. manny will always be in floyd foot steps only if floyd beat them then ill fight them or if they are ruined good then we can fight them fkn pusies

I wouldnt say he doesnt have a chance but the odds would be heavily against him.

My whole gripe about Arum's knock on Marquez is this. He says that he would have a hard time selling pac vs. jmm at 147 to the boxing public. If that was the case ,then why not have Pac come down to 140(he weighs in well below 147 for ww fights anyway) and JMM come up to 140 and make it more interesting. Yet he thinks selling Pac vs. SSM (coming off two sub par performances and seems to be showing alot of age and mileage these days.) to the boxing public makes more sense. Remember, this is the same guy who entertained Pac-Cotto 2. And as much as we like to talk about Berto's lower level of oppoonents, I think his speed/power blend makes everyone on Pac's team uneasy about that matchup, even with his ho hum defense. I think Arum is a great promoter but he is an even greater Bull****er by far.

Marquez doing it against his size and smaller fighter while Pacman doing it against a bigger and stronger fighters...that's the big difference.....

who had a better opponent...do you think Katsidis, Casamayor and Diaz better than de la hoya, hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito?????BIG NO!!!!
