I swear man, I'm starting to dislike Berto more and more each day. Just read an interview on another site where he was responding to Cintron talking about him and he had the nerve to say "Who is Cintron?" Well Berto, Cintron is the dude that although many don't like he isn't scared to get in there with anybody. Which is more then people can say for Berto. Dude has the most unimpressive resume at welterweight. Of course he'd be looking to fight Marquez, just another dude coming up in weight for him. I'd actually respect Berto more if he took a Cintron, Clottey, Margs, heck anyone that is actually a WW fight. For someone who hasn't done spit at WW this dude sure does like to think he's a top dog. That belt that he got when Floyd vacated it went to dudes head. That and the ridiculous money HBO has been giving him to fight sub-par competition.

Arum is a dam idiot, why does he want to make Marquez the ginny pig for Berto? He doesnt believe pacman can handle that fight so he wants MARQUEZ to test the waters first. But Marquez has more balls than pacquiao so he will probably fight Berto just to pursue his rematch against pacquiao. That is pure chicken **** on Arums part. Arum is a total dirt bag and is no good for the sport.

Marquez has more balls....really why still fight at 135 and fight a loser and bum fighter there...He should follow what Pacman did to Cotto, Clottey and Margarito.....Fight at a higher weight and prove your competitive fighting at that weight...Don't fight faded and shot Morales on his next fight...Fight Berto the other guy who wants Pacman badly....Since both Berto and Marquez want Pacman then both fighters should fight each other for the chance to have a fight with Pacman....if Marquez will not fight Berto and choose Morales fight instead, it means he's looking for the last big retirement payday against Pacman......

do you think Marquez will have Berto on his next bout???????he even ducked Khan when Marquez made a decision to go up at 140, Khan immediately made himself available but Marquez quickly made up his mind and went back to 135 and fought loser and bum Katsidis who was KO by Casamayor and beaten by Diaz....Both Casa and Diaz lost to Marquez but still Marquez fought a loser Katsidis.....What did Marquez gain fighting a loser Katsidis??????NOTHING

this won't be a good fight imho, but it will give berto much needed exposure. if berto loses to jmm that is a huge disgrace, but jmm, if he wins convincingly, will have proved he can hang at 147 lbs.
