My whole gripe about Arum's knock on Marquez is this. He says that he would have a hard time selling pac vs. jmm at 147 to the boxing public. If that was the case ,then why not have Pac come down to 140(he weighs in well below 147 for ww fights anyway) and JMM come up to 140 and make it more interesting. Yet he thinks selling Pac vs. SSM (coming off two sub par performances and seems to be showing alot of age and mileage these days.) to the boxing public makes more sense. Remember, this is the same guy who entertained Pac-Cotto 2. And as much as we like to talk about Berto's lower level of oppoonents, I think his speed/power blend makes everyone on Pac's team uneasy about that matchup, even with his ho hum defense. I think Arum is a great promoter but he is an even greater Bull****er by far.

maybe JMM hasn't proven himself at a higher weight, but no one has proven themselves against Pac like he has. As far as the purse demands go, the fight would be a bigger draw because of who he is as an opponent. At this stage of his career he should be demanding big payday, especially against a fighter that he went toe to toe with twice in fights that came down to decisions that are still widely disputed to this day.

The fight against Pac was competitive but that was years and 2-3 divisions ago. At the end of the day, every wants a final payday! Thats what Marquez is after, he knows he will lose same as he went against Mayweather but he doesn't care 1 loss = 5 Million bucks.

Then agree to all Pac's demands and of course don't ask if he's on anything or God forbid he submit to OST or you'll ensure you don't get that final big payday.
