Marquez doing it against his size and smaller fighter while Pacman doing it against a bigger and stronger fighters...that's the big difference.....

who had a better opponent...do you think Katsidis, Casamayor and Diaz better than de la hoya, hatton, Cotto, Clottey and Margarito?????BIG NO!!!!

I'll say this Pac has fought and beat some great names but I would say it's almost even with the slight edge going to Pac..Casamayor is the reason I say this..Out of all the names listed above as Pac opponents not one is as slick as Casamayor,not to mention Pac never fought the true Champ at 135lb when he was willing to fight him..Casamayor would have presented Problems for Pac not saying he would have beat him but he would have giving Pac trouble..But because of overall name value I say Pac's resume since they(Pac and JMM)last met is better..Oh and the fact that those fighters were bigger(which I think Pac use's as an advantage to some degree)and stronger..

maybe JMM hasn't proven himself at a higher weight, but no one has proven themselves against Pac like he has. As far as the purse demands go, the fight would be a bigger draw because of who he is as an opponent. At this stage of his career he should be demanding big payday, especially against a fighter that he went toe to toe with twice in fights that came down to decisions that are still widely disputed to this day.

if that is the case then Singsurat and Torrecampo the only fighters that KO pacman can demand a big payday against Pacman....

The same thing that happened when Katsidis hit him. He would show his mettle as a true warrior that he is. And yes I did see the Floyd fight. Floyd is on another stratusphere than those guys u just named. And I'm sure that if Clottey fought Marquez or anyone else for that matter the way he fought Manny he would lose the same way.

I'm being a realist not a radical. Those guys probably weigh 200lbs now. That was a very long time ago and pac is a different fighter. He is a lotmore like the guy marquez fought than the guy that they ko'd

if Marquez is too skill then he should fight who Pacman fought at a higher weight????fight cotto, clottey and margarito....if pacman can move up from higher weight then he's capable too.....
