Bob (admittedly) lies. He has an agenda, end of story player hater. He's been doing his job for a very long time. He can make or break any fight he wants. In Floyd's case it's the latter part. Besides, Khan said Pac's not ready to test which contradicts everything Team Pac said they agreed too. I wonder who lied?

Again Bob admittedly lies and doesn't care what the fans think. It's a fact. You can blame who YOU want but the facts still remain. Just sayin'!
Lies came from both sides...let's get that straight. Arum lied and Fruad lied (for denying any negotiation took place; that was put to rest by Ross Greenburg, HBO who said that he was talking to team May-never.).

Oh wait, you mean..... when Mayweather insisted that Shane Mosley undertake OST's before their fight, that was just Floyd's way of ducking Mosley?

Because, he knew Shane wouldn't accept those ridiculous demands right ?

        Jeez, Mayweather was lucky.....
just imagine if Shane had called his bluff and taken those nasty tests

It is absolutely ridiculous for you to think that the OST request was a duck.

The following "duck" excuses are ALL better than your one..........

        FLOYD: " **** off, you're not getting 50% "
FLOYD: " **** off, 10 million per pound overweight is ridiculous "
        FLOYD: " **** off, you're not a draw "
FLOYD: " **** off, you've had too many losses "
        FLOYD: " **** off..... just **** off "

If Mayweather wanted a way out of that fight, do you really think that he would have accepted 50/50? or that silly 10mil per pound demand?

He would have used one of five excuses, and ALL of them would be better than your one..... because, Manny could have simply taken the test.

        * OST's are HARMLESS !!
        * OST's will be mandatory within a couple of decades
        * OST's are mandatory NOW in ALL top amateur sports

But this is the main point.....
        * Currently, if an amateur athlete avoids or obstructs an OST request, they are JUDGED GUILTY, by the sanctioning body, and by the public in general.

THE SAME WILL HAPPEN in a few years, because OST will be mandatory at that point in time.

In the future, boxing fans will wonder why Manny insisted upon a cut-off date - which will seem bizarre, because.....
a.) there is no such thing as a cut-off date for OST's
b.) EVERYBODY will be taking OST's as per regulation, at that point in time

Team Pacquiao gave a total of 6 ridiculous excuses why Manny would not undertake random blood tests - which is a fkn joke. Requiring 6 different excuses means that none of them were any good, they just didn't want to take blood tests simple as that......

Floyd was toeing the line..... WHERE THE *** WAS MANNY ?

Garcia, tell me..... which one of those 6 ridiculous excuses did you believe?
Manny is still fighting...while Fruad is still on vacation beating women, threatening his children & abusing 2.5's (rent-a-cops). That's who's Fraud fighting now, women children and guys who make minimum wage. Maybe Fraud should ask those 2.5's to take a blood test first before he gets into their faces, you never know if they're taking PED's. You idoit.

                • If only Mayweather is actively fighting instead of getting into troubles then it would have been easier for his fans to defend him and perhaps even justify his no.2 P4P position.

These quotes show me who really wanted to fight.

Arum also indicated he would like Pacquiao to get through the Hatton fight before going up against Mayweather saying “I want Mayweather to stay there (in retirement) until September . The longer he’s out the more rusty he’ll be.”

Arum said that Mayweather “is pretty fast”
but that Pacquiao throws numerous punches but in an unorthodox way and “while Mayweather is a master boxer it will be very difficult for him to handle somebody as unorthodox as Manny is.”

                      http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&o...table&id=17506
Arum considers Floyd "pretty fast" and a "master boxer" and
                      just Pac being "Unorthodox"

"It's not so much that I give a damn whether this fight happens -- I don't -- and for me it's not the greatest experience doing a promotion with Floyd Mayweather," Arum said. "But not to do this fight would slow down the momentum of boxing."

                      http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=4672323
Come on man! Get a clue. If you were Mayweather. Would you
waste your time trying to fight a guy that his promoter won't let
fight? Bottomline is that Floyd should be fighting anyway.

When they could not come to an agreement, Top Rank and Golden Boy Promotions, which represents Mayweather, turned to a mediator, retired judge Daniel Weinstein, who had successfully mediated a series of disputes between Top Rank and Golden Boy in 2007.

But after nine hours in mediation on Tuesday in Santa Monica, Calif., and further attempts to come to a resolution on Wednesday failed, the fight was pronounced dead by the Pacquiao camp.
Team Pacquiao deaded the fight plain and simple. What else is
there to debate? The 2nd attempt was merely a serade to make
Manny seem like he didn't want to fight because of random blood
tests so he wouldn't look guilty. Pac said he agreed to everything
but Amir Kahn just blew him up as saying he is not mentally ready
for the OST's? Pac along with Arum and Roach is obvioulsy lying.

Manny Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, just sat down with reporters in the media room. We asked whether he or Pacquiao was disappointed at all that the Filipino will be fighting Joshua Clottey, and not Floyd Mayweather Jr., on Saturday.

"It may have been a little bit of a letdown for him, because when we were working the mitts, he'd go into Mayweather mode -- pretending he was Mayweather, with the hand down and the shoulder roll and all that," he said.

                      http://espn.go.com/sports/boxing/blo.../freddie-manny
Manny Pacquiao the supposedly P4P#1 was immitating Floyd Mayweather
Jr? Pac ain't even in Floyd's league by trying to impersonate him to
get a feel for Mayweather's style.

Schaefer believes that Arum's position of leaving it up to the commission is him "moving the goal post."

"The pressure is on Pacquiao," he said. "They keep moving the goal post like they did with the $10 million weight penalty [if either fighter is over the contract maximum 147 pounds], which we agreed to. They didn't think we would accept that. When we did, they had to find something else to make into a problem
                      . So now they're saying it's up
to the commission instead of wanting to negotiate the drug testing with us
. I don't want to hear that if the fight breaks up it was because of us. When they came to us with a $10 million weight penalty, they didn't expect us to say yes. They thought we'd say no. So when we said yes, they had to come up with something else. Now we're off USADA, and they are going to come and say only urine testing if that's what the commission says. It's really frustrating.

                      http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/box...ory?id=4772853
Team Pac has been coming up with excuses for the duration of the
1st negotiations. They had Floyd right where they wanted him. Why
didn't they just man up, agree to the tests and make the fight? Floyd
was taking the same tests. They made it seem like it was only Pac.

"Manny wants to fight the best and the Mayweather fight is the one he wants, probably at a catchweight of 143 pounds."

                      Freddie Roach, December 2008

                      http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&id=17456
All of these quotes make me believe that Arum, Manny and Roach
NEVER wanted this fight. Don't like to post so much but come on
Pac fans! Wake up! Manny is not as great as Arum is leading on.
A good fighter I admit but not so sure about being great considering
he hasn't fought anyone that has been dominate or coming off of
an impressive victory in a looooonnnnng time.

"Mayweather is so different than our last four opponents [Cotto, Ricky Hatton, De La Hoya and David Diaz]. We have to study him really hard. But I know Mayweather really well. I just need Manny to see what I see." (Freddie Roach).
