You can diss Floyd and Manny for doing what every fighter in the sport has done and will continue to do.

For instance people are hyping up Martinez when he is facing a bum in Andy Lee. What's funny is he could have faced Pirog but guess what his reason was as to not fighting him? Pirog has no fans, bring no money and no one knows who he is. Same **** with Dzin a guy who has been a top 3 JMW for a while. Dzin called him out Sergio said no one knows who he is so why should he face him.

B-hop pulled the same thing with Dawson and Williams as well but you guys make excuses and turn a blind eye to it because you only see what you wanna see.

Insert Floyd and Manny's name into those sentences and all he'll breaks loose. I don't think it's wrong to call either out but please keep it 100 and get of the double standards. All these fighters are the same and the sooner you realize it the better it will be as far as enjoying the sport.
    Williams?

I recognize that no fighter is perfect. But bhop has done MORE THAN THEM. Why is that so hard to understand.

As much as I'd like to see Pirog vs. Martinez, Martinez should try and capatilize on his win over Paul Williams and try to land a big money fight, not jeopardize it. You have to consider his age here.

PLUS, if Martinez were to fight Mayweather or Pacquiao, win or lose...we know damn well he'd then opt for Sergiy or Pirog, same can't be said about Mayweather and Pacquiao.

B-Hop is more willing to take on tougher opponents, no comparison here man. I like Floyd, and Pacquiao? Mehhh....but neither of the two have taken on B-Hop's level of opposition, and they sure haven't been consistent with it either.

you're also ignoring the fact that bhop faced more different styles, more undefeated fighters, more champions, and fought at a world class level until 45 and is still going. bhop also posessed 2 lineal championships that were legit (by that I mean much more superior than beating baldo for the lineal title when margs was clearly the best ww at the time with like 11 defenses).)

bhop also bounced around but he did stay at a division and dominate for over a decade and broke the middleweight defense record. bhop made history

of course you can pick at things but his accomplishments and challenges trump

not to mention how many fights he took he was supposed to lose
At the end of the day all three are ATG 's. I just don't get why you and others feel the need to diss other fighters in an attempt to hype up b-hop. That's not a diss to you although I can see why that may come off wrong, even though I have no other way to put it.

What B-hop is doing is great but don't act like he didn't face a ton of bums as well as pull the same thing you bash Manny and Floyd for.Again all these fighters are the same.

Why can't we just praise b-hop and other great fighters for who they are and there accomplishments, and leave it that. That's really all I'm saying.

Don't think so, if B-Hop were ever in Pacquiao or Mayweather's postion, we would have already seen Pac vs. Paul Williams/ Martinez, same goes for Floyd. No doubt in my mind, really nothing to think about. B-Hop's resume speaks for itself.

Dude I have followed Hopkins since the mid 90's. Dude has fought his fair share of bums as well. To say he consistently face tough opposition is absurb.

As with Martinez, he is gonna face Lee then Cotto. I'm not knocking either move because he deserves to get paid but don't act like that's no different than what Floyd gets crucified for and what Manny did by facing Margarito and now Shane.

Again I don't know any of the three mentioned fighters moves because after seeing so many fighters broke and fvkked up, I'm glad to see fighters getting paid. Now they should take challenges and test themselves but nothing wrong with taking money fights here and there.

Still doesn't change the fact that B-Hop has fought MUCH tougher opposition than both. He's more willing to prove how great he is than both.

              • hop is the man. id say his resume is good but lets not forget he spent a good dgree of his career at middle weight defending his title and fighting ppl who weer either smaller than he was or that didnt deserve to be in the ring with him. but his resume after 40 is where its at. on that alone it makes it hard for me (a mayweather fan) to rank may higher than him when he keeps on pulling the **** he does off. but may has more of a future in boxing that hop so who knows. hop will go down as a top 5o atg no doubt.

as far as manny, nahh his resume ****s on hops.

i would have to agree with you on this one fdo. i would also argue the cotto win was better. but that ain't bhop's best win since morales rematch

bhop sat in one division for more than 15years for god sake, so surely he'd almost fought everyone. but he still missed some.

if floyd or manny stayed in 135 and 130 respectively, they would've fought all these fighters that haters used to bash against them.
