The reason why B-Hop took this fight because he knew that Pascal was a Flawed fighter he is not a Roy Jones clone his style of fighting is terrible walking around the ring jumping in throwing wild combos takes a break more walking waiting then more wild swinging and poor stamina he was gassed again like the Dawson fight he needs to work on his craft fix that stamina issue he reminds me of Jermain Taylor poor craft poor stamina just young and fast with power B-Hop took him to school just like he did Calslappy and the judges robbed him again Damn shame

Hopkins is the closest we have to a throwback fighter. The guy is truly cut from a different cloth.

            Hold on.....

That last part adds a little more context

He has never taken damage, and he is still schoolin fools.

Let him have his fun, watch, and feel privileged to live in his era

He is easily the best of the " old guys ".

If you wait until you are heavily slurring words before you retire, then you have waited too long. My whole point is that he should retire NOW, while he still has his health. I will not be shocked at all if he has already sustained enough brain damage where it will effect him later in life. It's true he hasn't been in many wars, but he has many, many rounds on him. It adds up.

Do you want him to win a belt and then defend it until he is defeated? How long do you want him to continue on? Until he is shot?

I don't like B-Hop. It's no skin off my nose if he continues to fight. I will continue to watch and hope to see him get KOed (in most matchups). That doesn't mean I can't see it would be best for him to retire sooner rather than later (as in today).

His mother had his best interests at heart. She made him promise, when she was dying, that he would retire at 40. You think the hangers on or business partners who are telling him how smart he is to continue his career give a flying **** about his health??? They want the money. This happens to most legendary boxers. He will wind up like most of them.

Well, I love that ol' guy..... but, I suppose you could be right.

A pretty good performance from an old guy that should retire though huh?

i believe if Hopkins wasnt the old man he is now many would not have given him sympathy rounds. a draw was disappointing and i think Pascal could have done more but what he was able to do compares to what Bernard did was pretty even. B-Hop may have won more rounds but i honestly had the fight tied and before the 12 i remember thinking whoever wins this round should get the victory and i thought Pascal landed the more significant shots in the last round. but a draw wasnt a robbery. i will rewatch it though.
