this fight showed khan can't really take a punch,maidana was tired and couldn't finish him...and about cortez,i knew he would do this,separating them and not let maidana fight on the inside,he should of let them fight out of clinches,he would separte them immediately....it's like with hatton with mayweather,yeah mayweather would beat him from the outside,but give the guy a chance to do "his" fight,which was on the inside with hatton,never game him that chance,thats how jesus chavez fougth mayweather and did pretty good,he lost but was able to connect,if he had power who knows,but i think cortez did a terrible job,i knew this would happen as soon as i read he was to be the ref

I wouldn't mind seeing a fighter knock Joe Cortez out with a punch, its at that point where there's no other way to get rid of him! the commission needs to get rid of him!

My thing is that Khan and Team ******* acted like they were made of steel. All that talk that Khan was going to destroy Maidana and you saw the results. I give it to Khan for surviving this fight but next time can you please shut the *** up, your not what you claim you are.

Nothing wrong with the scoring imo but the ref was too keen . Same for Hatton v's Mayweather. At least Cortez is consistent. He sucks every time.

I'm officially Maidana's fan now. He showed willingness to win, never gave up. was going for Khan until the last second. The referee should of take point from Khan from all that holding. This **** pisses me off. Yes I give him props, for his athletism, kid threw incredible fast jabs, foot movement, distance range. But come on.. all that agaisnt a guy who is smaller him and the guy who wasnt giving up. Constent holding from Khan, then during sharp moment Khan was just turning his back to Maidana, so referee jums in, especially in 10th round. No matter what you guys say, Khan is a ***** and he won't be a champ for a long time, mark my words. and what ? he said he got skills to punish Mayweather, Floyd would pee on top of his head, with a big smile on his face.

I hope there will be a rematch, so Maidana ccan KO this kid, or he should fight Ortiz. there is no way this ***** will stay a champ for more than 2-3 fights. as long as he fights some1 decent, who can punch and who has willingness to Win.
