Well, if David grows the balls to fight a Klitschko, it's a fight I would like to see. Originally I thought Haye would have a chance but they way he b*tched out and refused to accept a 50-50 split on money, I am now thinking he is just trying to cash out...

I actually thought Khan would be in more danger everytime Cortez split them. Up close Khan was able to smother Maidanna's attacks and clinch. But he was wide open when he tried moving back.

So i dont see how the ref is to blame for anything. Breaking a clinch means they can fight more, and that the hurt fighter doesnt have time to recover. he has to use his legs or punch back. Both more dangerous than in a clinch.

But a very exciting brawler. Most fighters wouldn't have been able to muster up what he did in that 10th round after taking all those shots early on. I thought before he landed that huge shot that he might be done. The guy just has no quit in him and that is fun to watch. Maidana may not always win but he is must see TV....

Exactly in the clinch all he could do is rabbit punch or some body punches with barely any leverage in them.

I see your point however Maidana has a great uppercut inside and one good one could have been it. Breaking them up gave Khan time to get on his bike, extend his long arms and swing his long body out of the way. Trust me, I am not a Khan hater or anything, I was impressed with both fighters. I just don't like Cortez, he is consistant, it's always just consistantly bad (IMO).

Maidana was let off with his rabbit punches, and Khan was let off turning around.

Obviously Khan was hurt and held on for dear life too, but Cortez jumped in when Maidana turned around after throwing a punch, so he was consistent.
