Maidana is a little cry baby that got this idea after the fact. He said nothing about it in the post fight interview immediately after the fight. When it comes down to it he deserves everything going wrong for him that night. Would never touch up with Khan and tried to sucker punch him during the opening bell touch up that has become customary in boxing. Punks finnish last and this is just another example of that.

Please, that whole touching gloves **** at the start of each match is bull****. You're not forced to do it and you shouldn't expect your opponent to return the gesture. I know it's nice to see good sportsmanship in sports, whether it be basketball or boxing, but in boxing, where fighters and their trainers (most of the time) talk **** about each other before the night of the fight, the last thing I would expect them to do is touch gloves at the start of their match. I agree with you about the punch he threw being cheap, but that doesn't mean that he's a punk and deserved everything to go wrong for him in the fight. The guy showed massive balls and heart (as did Khan, especially during the 10th and later rounds) and has a very aggressive 'I don't give a **** about anything but destroying my opponent' attitude. That overaggressive **** backfires on him at times, but it makes his fights entertaining to watch.
