Am I the only one on here that thought Khan got a gift decision?

I scored the 10th 10-8 but the 12 definately wasn't. Maidana wasn't dominant and Khan had some moments.
I thought Maidana had 3 clear rounds 10, 11, 12 and he might have won round 3. Other than that I think Khan won every round plus two 10-8 rounds. I couldn't have given the fight to Maidana at all, he came on strong but it was too late.Comment

IMHO, Khan with no doubts has taken the first six round of the fight while Maidana only had two(in rounds ten and twelve) with the other four rounds could be debatable. I would say that even a draw would be a gift decision for Maidana and winning an all out BS.
And for the judges to score it very close happen to favor come forward fighter more and i don't blame their preference. I too am such.Last edited by AFighter4U; 12-12-2010, 11:18 PM.Comment

It's still scoring though. That's what they call as "ring generalship."
Hell did pbf's punches did anything to baldomir? But it schooled him still right?Comment

Khan landed clean combos all night on Maidana. Open your eyes a little. In my book Khan won 9-3 rounds. They both had one 10-8, so overall it was 10-3 score for Khan. Have no clue where the judges got the scores from.
According to me it was 116-110. I could see 115-111. But where the fuck did those close ass scores come from.? Some one explain to me, and not the ts, because he is a biased fool.
rounds 3 and 6 were a little close, and Amir Khan threw more shoeshine type punches while Maidana's were the harder punch.
my scorecard was very similar to Harold Lederman's, with the exception of the 11th in which i gave it to Maidana.
i had it 113-112 for Amir, but i could easily see it as 115-110 for the close rounds i mentioned earlier.
even without the ******ed 1 point deduction from Cortez the best this fight could have been was a draw. Amir Khan definitely won this fight.Last edited by Deep Blue 1997; 12-12-2010, 11:17 PM.Comment

he was getting his ass kicked from round 10-12 ima watch the fight again since i was kind of drunk but i think he was kind of dominant....and dirrell beat the crap out of froch...im not a floyd fan and i dont care to talk about him....why cant we get in a sparring session? where do you live i would love to see your face when you find out who i actually am lolWhat I'm saying is this Khan won the first half but only a fool can think he won the second half he fought to survive and yes he would be dumb to stand and trade like he said he would but fact is, it was a close fight and if he won the fight dirrel won against froch and I don't want to hear no **** about Floyd running anymore because you people quick to change tunes on what's considered running or not when it comes to a fighter you like or dislike. O by the way I'm sure I could kick you azz anyday to bad we can't get in a good sparring lesson so I could make you my sonComment

I actually probably wouldn't have scored the 12th round 10-8 either but Khan did absolutely nothing in that round though, so maybe that's why I let my emotions get the best of me where that's concerned. I may have to watch the fight again. But there is no way I would have a problem with Maidana winning the decision.I scored the 10th 10-8 but the 12 definately wasn't. Maidana wasn't dominant and Khan had some moments.

Yes but baldomir's punches never seemed to hurt Floyd and Maidana's did hurt Khan and had him backpedalling and holding when intially he was in the middle of the ring.Comment
