i agree with the cortez thing
but still can't take nothing away from khan for withstanding those punches, but a rematch should be in order, and also in that fight Khan wasn't punched clean on the chin, everyone complains how mayweather runs for 12 rounds, khan was doing the same thing, even though i had khan to win

i never thought that for a second that maidana was going to be easy or have a easy night after studying his fight tapes and also his other attributes...props to maidana the guys a warrior and gives it his all and i reckon he should maybe get a fight with another 140 IB Champion

How about a bit of credit for:

1) Taking on the biggest puncher at JWW when everyone thought he was ducking him.

2) Executing his game-plan and out-boxing Maidana for most of the fight.

3) Getting hit clean with big bombs and not getting knocked down.

4) Having the heart to fight on and not quit like Ortiz.

5) Saying that he's open to a rematch in the future.

Khan has an A+ heart. Maidana does too, A++ in fact.

cortez was selected for a reason. golden boy knows the way he refs and they wanted someone that didn't allow inside fighting so they chose him because he gave khan the best chance at victory. separation=good close=bad it was a smart choice but cortez should really learn the rules of reffing before he gets inducted into the hall of fame.
