I love how the brits say Cortez did a great job when they were all crying "OMG CORTEZ IS SUCH A BAD REF HE MESSED HATTON UP VS MAYWEATHER!!!!"

Now they are all "Oh Cortez did a great job"

Even though this was worst then the Hatton vs Mayweather reffing

The ref and Khan's holding and running won it for him. It would have only been the FOTY if Maidana sparked him out. If Maidana had just a tad bit more left in the tank, he would have stopped Khan in the 10th, Khan got lucky. It'll be another 5 years before we see Khan in there with a top class puncher, it's back to fighters with low KO percentages. I don't think highly of Ortiz or like him, but he KO's Khan.

Its safe to say Maidana was fighting two people in the ring at once today. its clear Cortez got paid off in Khans favor. Everytime Maidana clinched or pushed Khan in his favor, Cortez jumped in to save Khan.

Maidana elbow...First off all you cowards, Maidana didnt elbow Khan. Maidana tapped Cortez's chest and took a point off. When Maidana was on his groove, Cortez stopped it.

Khan complained, Maidana got punished, Maidana complain, Cortez went to his face and says "YOU GOT A PROBLEM!?"

Makes me wanna vomit just thinking about it.

Best of all, We know who the winner is, We know who is the real badass. Maidana was mortal in round one, when he got up, i saw satans eyes in him.

Maidana is a true badass, here comes Khan trying to touch gloves, Maidana isnt here for that. Hes here to KILL.

Plain and simple, this wasnt Maidana at his best. Maidana looked a lot better vs Kotelnik where he was robbed and vs Ortiz.

Meaning, Maidana vs Khan II would look something like Williams vs Martinez II

All Maidana needs is conditioning.

Maidana is a true man, something you cowards wish you could be.

Yes vicious body shot by Cortez in the 1st nearly had Maidana out of there.
