WTF is the matter with half the people on here??? im about as suprised that my boy won as i watched him fight maidana live...
yeah khan ran, yeah khan got wobbled a few times , yeah there were a few low blows etc or fouls from each fighter and yeah there were many times that khan looked close to getting KOd from Maidana...
But how the hell can you not respect khan for beating and also taking maidanas hard punches for 12 rounds?? i mean look at the prescott fight and look at this fight he is so much better and has developed so much more and yet alot of people still think khan take a punch...well look at last night you can call it luck , running etc but a glass chinned fighter cannot take punches like that without getting KOd....
no one can call khan Glass chin anymore after last nights fight....all arguments aside as well great fight and props to both fighters especially el chino for never giving up and pressing and pressing....
i agree with the cortez thing
but still can't take nothing away from khan for withstanding those punches, but a rematch should be in order, and also in that fight Khan wasn't punched clean on the chin, everyone complains how mayweather runs for 12 rounds, khan was doing the same thing, even though i had khan to win
Khan gets credit to me for the way he boxed but I underestimated Maidana and came out more impressed with him...he ****ed Khan up just straight ****ed him up and made it super rough for him 2nd half of the fight.
Emz is a hardcore Maidana trooper, so I would take what he says with a grain of salt. I doubted Khan's chin and his ability to take a punch, but he proved tonight he has heart - he took some of the meanest punches Maidana has delivered and didn't go down - now that alone deserves respect.
I thought Maidana was going to KO Khan, I was wrong. There's no need to disrespect Khan, bro. He gets props for fighting the biggest punching 140 pounder in the world and taking flush shots on the chin. When Maidana had Khan badly hurt, the ref did absolutely nothing wrong - Maidana had plenty of time to finish his man off, but he simply couldn't.
