Who is TECHNICALLY better? David Haye or Wladamir Klitschko?

I explained this bro. I explained this even more throughly but the guy just wouldn't have it. He said Wlad is just a tall, brawler that bullies his opponent and is completly untechnical, as opposed to David Haye who is a technical geniusI don't get it. It's not even close. Haye is an athletic fighter. Wlad is an athletic technically sound boxer with a stone cold right hound. He fights with a textbook boxing style. I can picture my old coach explaining the right way to throw the jab and 1-2. He could have just showed a video of wlad if hexwas around back then. Plus wlad's footwork. He always steps with the front and back with the back and keeps his balance very well in all directions.
His hook off the jab is textbook.
Lfctitles has zero credibility, don't even listen to him.

You're wasting your time then. Over 90% of people on a boxing website say wlad.Comment

Wlad is easily the better technician, his jab, right hand etc are all beautifully textbook.
Haye has learnt to fight bigger men by staying outside of the range of the jab and then jumping in with his right hand or left hook, he's an aggressive counter puncher. Which means not all of his punches are going to be textbook since he's adapting to the position of an opponent.
He has a good jab when he uses it and he can punch very hard off the back foot which Wladimir can't do, he has good footwork in terms of he can generate power in any position but his feet are wide apart and in means he looks clumsy at times.
Despite this Wlad is a textbook boxer and is better technically, when you go to the gym for the first time as a tall fighter he does all the basics a newcomer is told to do and does them very very well.Comment

Haye and Wlad both have a great one-two. It's probably Haye's best asset, the way he dropped Ruiz was beautiful.
Wlad of course has the meanest jab in the business. It just looks like a paw, but TJ Wilson once told me his jab "Hits like a mule kicks."
Haye is of course a natural athlete and probably has better footwork (he fights going back well), but his stamina is still in question as he does tend to take quite a few rounds off.
Haye also doesn't throw the jab enough.
I'm just casting for straws here, the answer is Wladimir. He usues the exact same game plan every time, and it works. When he wants to keep you at a distance and jab your ass, he does. When he doesnt want you to work the inside, he holds. When he's worn you down enough and wants to KO you, he KOs you.Comment

Wlad is far more technically sound. It isnt even an argument. Haye is more like a Naz or Roy Jones. He gets by on his speed. Which is why a guy like Hopkins who is more technically sound then Roy can still fight at the top level once he slows down. Roy cant fall back on his technical skills.Comment

I'm not sure about the point of this thread is, is it to argue that another person's differing opinion to yours is wrong?
"Technique" is an ambiguous subject at best.
Anyway...IMO Vlad is the better technican, as stated previously he does the basics excellently. It's clear he's worked hard and learnt a lot being Steward's project. Vlad imo is more of a "constructed" fighter, with parallels to David Beckham, a somewhat "constructed" footballer. Haye tends to rely more on his speed, greater natural ability and "X-Factor" and as a rule often gets away with being somewhat sloppy.Comment
