I watched Rocky and respect it for what it is. (Pretty solid movie)

but I tend to agree that having a Rocky statue is a bit much

actual professional athletes should get statues (i.e Magic Johnson for example)
not fictional movie characters.

Not only did this fool get a statue in Philly over guys like Joe Frazier...

But, he also gets in the hall over fighters who are not in but should be in? Is just ridiculous.

The statue was built strictly as a prop for the movie, not as a tribute to Sylvester Stallone. The only reason it remained was because nobody bothered to take it down. It became more of a tourist attraction than it stood for anything honorable.

I have to say, his inclusion into the Hall of Fame is a sad day for boxing.

It's funny & ***ED UP that Stallone gets a spot in the I.B.H.O.F & last year they robbed 3 DIVISION CHAMPION Wilfredo Vazquez Sr. of that spot!! Vazquez Sr. had 21(loosing ONLY 4) World title fights & ONLY 1 was in his home country of Puerto Rico(which IRONICALLY he lost by UD) the rest were either at his opponents home country, state or at a neutral venue!!!

The I.B.H.O.F. sometimes have some crazy politics going on!!! ¿How in the world Sylvester Stallone gets a spot in the Hall Of Fame & under what category!? ¿For writing the movie & playing the roll of Rocky Balboa a boxing FICTIONAL CHARACTER & for ACTING SOME OF THE MOST EXAGGERATED ROLLS IN A BOXING MOVIE!!!? C'MON!! If that's the case then they should throw Russell Crowe for playing the roll of James Braddock who is a REAL FIGHTER & somehow IS a HALL OF FAMER, even thou the journeyman won a World Championship & lost it on his 1st defense!! exactly de niro played that part to perfection and this prick Stallone gets in there and i dont even understand what he says in hes movie....
