I think both should be in, but hamed got spanked in his prime. Zoo lost to a bigger guy in a back and forth late ko.

Hamed will eventually get in. He defeated practically every title holder in his division, unified the belts, did wonders for the marketability of fighters from smaller weight divisions and his sole loss was to an ATG in Barrera.

yeah and that is???????????????????????? just cuz he stayed there in the UK and fought C & B level opposition dont mean u get into the HOF?? was he a champ YES he was but does he have any significant fights that he had with anyone with world class quality?? the only guy he fought was MAB and the guy lost that fight bad and didnt even ever fight again???

Considering you have Kostya Tszyu in your avatar,you're in no such position to question Hamed's retirement following a loss.It wasn't Hamed who quit on his stool in a fight that was still up for grabs.And it wasn't Hamed who got knocked silly by an average Vince Phillips.Tszyu still remaned active following his loss to Phillips and he never rematched him,despite Phillips remaining champion for a decent amount of time afterwards.

Tszyu's career ****s on Hameds from a great height imo. Most people are trying to figure out who the Prince has beaten, Kostya was the first guy in 30yrs to unify 140.

Tszyu never unified the division.To unify the division,he would have had to have also won the WBO world title - which he didn't.

And who did Kostya Tszyu ever beat? Hamed's best wins are over fighters more accomplished than anyone Tszyu ever fought - well,besides Chavez,of course.But nobody in their right mind would give Tszyu credit for that win.

If some actor decides to do a couple movies & play the roll of some great ficticious baseball player or basket ball ect.ect żDo u actually think he would deserve a spot in that particular sports hall of fame? HELL NO!!! That's ridicules!! Stallone could have made 10 movies(increadible HE MIGHT!), they ALL SUCK!!!!! & even if they were goood or great, THAT SHOULD NOT EARN HIM A SPOT IN ANY BOXING HALL OF FAME!!! Oscar's & Golden globe's & what ever else movie actors get should be good enough!!! Like I mentioned in the comment I posted before, There ARE REAL EXFIGHTERS THAT DESERVE TO BE IN THE HALL OF FAME NOW & AREN'T THERE YET!!! & this chump who's NO TALLER than Duran(in the 1st movie Duran was Rocky's(Stallone) sparring partner & looked taller) & for playing the roll of a FAKE-ASS HEAVYWEIGHT, he get a spot in the hall of fame!! THAT'S BULL S H I T!!!

Im not saying that he BELONGS IN THE BOXING HALL OF FAME. Im saying that a lot of Posters are trying to Trash Rocky Movies when they are a good sports movie collection. He deserves to be in like a sports movie Hall of Fame but not the Boxing one if you get where im saying.

We knew Tyson and Chavez would be in for sure the third spot was a bit uncertain. Tszyu was my vote. This will be the biggest induction class( star wise) I have seen since I've been attending.

I highly recommended you guys try to make the trip one of these summers. Its an awesome experience and once you go you will be hooked. Its not as expensive or difficult as you think. I went a few years back to meet a group from another boxing forum and have been going every year since. I travel from Cali and can do the trip under $1000. Thats round trip, hotel, car etc.
