And that's CLEARLY what he's trying to turn it into. That being said, I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT FLOYD IN FAVOR OF MANNY! When it is justified. Here, it CLEARLY is not. Manny is the bigger draw of the two.

Mayorga was a Clottley-level opponent, and he still did almost a quarter million more buys with Mayarorga. NOBODY outside of hardcore boxing fans knew who Mayorga was. Yet, EVERYBODY WAS talking about that fight. Not so much for Clottey/Pacquaio. I'm sorry dude.
Mayorga had more fans and was way more popular than Clottey was....

Why not compare pick and chose?

Why not add their opponents from Ghana? Oscar-Quartey and Pac-Clottey? I mean both fighters are from Ghana. So maybe the same fan base?

Who is the bigger draw between Clottey and Quartey? Who was the better opponent? Whatever answer you give, I don't care.

      Oscar-Quartey did 570k buys
      Pac-Clottey did 700k buys

Is this not more of a fair comparison since both Clottey and Quartey are from Ghana and at WW? Neither big trash talkers?

I am sorry dude Pac and Floyd are bigger now than Oscar ever was.

But, whatever lets give Oscar the advantage cuz he will need it believe me and average every single PPV of all 3 parties. Floyd number will him, and he might edge out Pac cuz of Pac independent PPV he had in the Philippines. But, that is fine cuz that would not be that big of a difference with that.

People want to say that bullcrap that Oscar made Floyd and Pac. Which is BS they made themselves... If Oscar made them, then how come he didn't make Mosley, how come he didn't make Hopkins, even Tito wasn't the draw that these 2 fighters are.
        Does it really matter?

The question is, as you said yourself, is, who is the bigger draw?

It doesn't say anything about being backed by corporations or independents,

its simply asking, who is the bigger draw in their prime.

Oscar was a draw since day one. Floyd and Manny in comparison were nobodies.

Oscar helped make them. You feel better now?

Point is, they weren't doing anything near a mil before they fought Oscar. It wasn't until after they fought him that their numbers drastically went up. And again, this has to do with the day and age they're fighting in regards to marketing techniques and strategies, in comparison to Tito, Mosley and Hopkins. You just don't want to see that because you hate DLH that much.

Bro, you are SORELY mistaken. (And have been for the last four or five years.) Look, I know you HATE Manny. And truth be told, I don't exactly like him too much myself, but give credit where credit is due.

floyd OUTSELLS manny PPV for PPV. so how can mannys drawing power be bigger than floyds? more people tune into watch floyd fight, PERIOD

again, these facts cant be argued

Everything you're saying doesn't take away the fact that we're talking about right now. And, right now both Floyd and Pac are bigger draws than Oscar ever was.

You just turned full Bur-rus on us.
Oscars draw spanned his entire career, not just a third of it.

Okay. Sure enough. On a strictly fight-for-fight basis, yes Floyd wins. Of course. But he doesn't fight ENOUGH, to be considered the true PPV king as of right now. Floyd's inactivity is KILLING HIM! (And I'm a HUGE Floyd supporter. I liver right across the river, and have been to Michigan 100's of times! Floyd's my MAIN man!) But even I can't deny this!

ok. maybe in cali in the pinoy community.

my pinoy sis in law and even one of my friends who are from PI dont even know who pac is. not to mention many other people. but if you ask if they know who floyd is, they say yes.

floyd sells morePPV's than pac b.c his drawing power is bigger. more people know who he is.

again, these are facts you cant argue
