Pac's legacy is secure. As it is now, the only people trying to discredit Pac are either fringe bloggers or posters on internet forums. Pac is already an ATG, there really isn't much that can happen now to change that one way or the other short of Pac getting caught using PED's.
Marquez will NOT beat the Pac-Man of today...

It will be a combination of both. I'm more than certain it will be a blowout and hope to see just so people will finally shut the f uck up about it. Either way, some will cry about something whether it be the weight, the venue, the refs, whatever.maybe.
we'll see.
i think the pac fans like to have excuses when it comes to the marquez fights.
they try to find every little bit to excuse it.
marquez just gives him a bad matchup.
if pac blows out jmm in a rubber match , it'll be more because jmm is past it , got worse and/or the weight division than it is because pac improved so much.Comment

he just fought for a meaningless 154 vacant belt at a catchweight.Pac is nearing the end of his boxing career so I don't think he is interested in any more titles other than securing an ATG status and that is the only reason Floyd gets mentioned every time. The two best fighters of this era. If Pac and Floyd fight gets made, that would be Manny's last fight as he has accomplished every thing else and more. But Floyd is on vacation indefinitely so we get to entertain other options.
he fought for a lame , made up diamond belt at 147.
don't tell me he's not interested in titles.
that's just bull****.
marquez's lineal title is the real title.
not a meaningless paper belt he fought for against diaz , cotto and margarito.Comment

that doesn't mean you don't try to add to it.
if he's not trying to add to it , then he should just retire.
no one is trying to discredit pac. it is what it is.Comment

Manny already fought this mother ****er twice and he got a win on of them controversy or not. Marquez lost to Manny's number 1 rival, it is NOT on Manny to earn his fight with Marquez... and for some reason you dumbass Marquez nuthuggers/Manny haters seem to forget that Marquez turned down a 3rd fight with Manny and took a Chris John fight. THE LAST thing this one dimensional clown should be doing is asking for Manny to move down in weight. He weighed in at 145 tonight, which is only 3 pounds less than Manny vs Marg, don't give me this bull**** about needing a catchweight because the fact is at the WW limit they will be withing 2-4 pounds of each other. MARQUEZ needs to actually win a fight against Manny and stop saying he's being avoided, when he was the first one to do so. Oh and he lost to John his "other choice" instead of Manny.pac should man up and fight him at 135.
that won't happen though.
i'm hoping at least 140. i'll settle for that.
marquez has to chase pac.
i don't blame him.
you know he just fought the #1 contender in his division , defended his lineal title , showcased by gbp and hbo......
i think david diaz made more money fighting pacquiao as a tuneup than marquez did today. if not , it's close.
whatever it takes to get the big fight. do it juanma. go insult jinkee on ustream or something.
Face it you ****ing p*ssy haters, Manny's faced EVERYONE and he's already put this clown down 4 times, maybe if Marquez had a better chin he'd be P4P #1.Comment

it is played out. just like godfather 3. godfather 1 & 2 were great just like pac vs jmm 1 & 2. you dont want pac vs jmm 3 the godfather 3 version.
There's articles out there saying jmm, berto, & mosley are an option. there's articles in bscene with roach saying they would fight marquez a 3rd time. same with arum.
you are assuming with your everybody wants a third fight. Not everybody. I want to see pac in there with someone young & hungry & preferably black american to silence the critics.Comment

Maybe but he cannot make 135 so why are you even bringing it up? Its a moot point.he just fought for a meaningless 154 vacant belt at a catchweight.
he fought for a lame , made up diamond belt at 147.
don't tell me he's not interested in titles.

Looking back a few years from now, no one will either remember or care that Pac fought Cotto and Margarito at a catchweight. And anything short of a victory over FMJ will not advance Pac's legacy compared to what it is now.
Pac can, and should just retire if there are no fights left for him. The problem for Pac is this, the day he retires from boxing is the day he becomes irrelevant in Philippine Politics. Pac knows this, its why he's on the record saying he wants a few more fights and would only categorically retire before turning 35, shortly after reelection.Comment
