Marquez will NOT beat the Pac-Man of today...

Don't get me wrong here Marquez is a really good fighter and has done great things for the sport of boxing but lets be honest here Manny isn't the same boxer who fought Marquez a few years back, he was put down by Mayweather so my guess is Pacquiao will probably knock him out I mean seriously look at Pac's recent track record. He's either knocking em out or breaking faces and lets not to mention if Mayweather was too fast for Marquez just imagine what Pacquiao would do with his speed and high volume of punching... The one thing I don't like about things already in the media is how Freddie wants the fight to be at 147... Come on Freddie the man couldn't get that high fighting Mayweather and it would be an uneven advantage.

Totally agree apart from the weight point.

Pacquaio is THE MAN of the moment. Literally THE MAN. If he wants to fight at 147 then so be it. Marquez is literally NOBODY to tell him to go to 143/144.

It's actually getting quite sad to see Marquez chase Pac. Both are doing amazing things away from each other but Marquez actually lost both fights if one old dude could add up correctly and thinks he can dictate terms to Pac? Haha - get real.

He isn't different. His style hasn't changed. He hasn't improved much. He's just fought fighters tailor made to his style pretty much.

Styles make fights, at 140 Marquez gives Pacquiao problems. People who say "Pacquiao will knock him out quick" Lol, no he won't. He's not gonna fight Marquez like he fought Hatton or Margarito. It'll be a technical war.

pac should man up and fight him at 135.

              that won't happen though.

i'm hoping at least 140. i'll settle for that.

              marquez has to chase pac.

              i don't blame him.

you know he just fought the #1 contender in his division , defended his lineal title , showcased by gbp and hbo......

i think david diaz made more money fighting pacquiao as a tuneup than marquez did today. if not , it's close.

whatever it takes to get the big fight. do it juanma. go insult jinkee on ustream or something.

Well considering Pacquaio just weighed in his last fight around 144 he might get his wish anyways since Pac hates putting on too much weight but either way the speed advantage will overwhelm him

Pac knows he is vulnerable to counter punches against marquez when coming in. in the rematch, he would "fake" commit combinations then pull back and look to counter the counter puncher. Mayweather used his reach to the maximum in that fight along with great defense. Pac will have fits against JMM guaranteed.

sometimes that's just how it is.

                    look at ali-norton.

norton is not even close to ali skillswise and resume-wise.

                    not even close.

yet you can argue norton whooped his ass 3 times.
