Or maybe, just maybe they wanted to test out how they feel against a bigger guy in Marg and see how they would do against somebody that size.
And, maybe just maybe they felt uncomfortable in the ring against somebody that size. That made them decide that no we're too small to be fighting against somebody this size and this weight.
Pac was hit hard in that fight, he even admitted that he was hurt after that fight. He had to cancel appearances because he was still in pain couple of days later after that fight.
So could it be it, that they tried to see how the feel and didn't like and took there small ass back to WW? Is that at all possible?Comment

why are people comparing the sizes between sergio and oscar and margarito. height has nothing to do with what weight you fight in. sergio is a naturaly bigger man than those 2. juan ma is taller than pac and caballero is 6 foot but they fight in smaller divisions. anyway pac would destroy sergio if they ever fought, so bring it on sergio.Comment

That makes sense as Roy DID say he wanted to fight Tyson (who was beat by Lewis) and then retire. He ducked tyson though or was it that Tyson was beat by Holyfield who was beat by Ruiz who was beat by Jones?
At the end of the day,
Pac has a 154lb TITLE and Martinez who's fought most of his career at 147 and 154, who's smaller than Hoya and Margarito wants that title back and is willing to throw in his MW title...
Why are people lowering the standards for Pac? Either he earned that 154 lb title fighting a real champion and threat in a "bigger" Margarito or he didnt?
Margarito: 5'11
Martinez: 5'10Comment

What's worse is that Martinez is smaller than Margarito.
Difference is....
Martinez has a title, Margarito didn't.
Martinez looked good in his last few fights, Margarito hasn't.
Martinez has speed, Margarito doesn't.
Martinez is a THREAT, Margarito isn't!
Key elements in the deciding factor of Pac's "selections". Weight, speed, style, power and more importantly is the fighter coming off a serious KO loss. When's the last time Pac faced a fighter on a winning streak? Nate Cambell? No wait, Pac ducked him for Diaz...
Yet now people are trying to justify a fight with Mosley who hasn't won since beating Margarito in 2008.
Man, we have such low standards for Pac that where now trying to justify him not fighting a real threat (again) by saying Martinez is just "too big" or is it "too good"? We might as well say Floyd Mayweather is "too great" since Mosley was "too good". We might as well say Pac is not even a "true" WW so he shouldn't even be allowed to claim that title too???
Too much back pedaling. Hell so much of it that people are saying Pac's not even a WW now? Martinez is bringing on the pressure by wanting his old title that Pac "won" or was "handed" (plaster free).Comment

You don't think theres a problem with having a fighter winning a 154 belt with out fighting the 154 champ or a ranked 154 fighter and then be unable to defend it because of being too small againts top 154 fighters.
Pac fights dela hoya at 147, but fights Cotto at 145. Then Pac fights Marg who is the same size as Martinez, but wont fight Martinez.
Now to the address the bold high light. If manny is not even a true 147 pounder then why are they asking for Marquez at 147lb. You dont find that a bit su****ious. I Alex even said Pac could easily make 140. We all know Pac could make 140, but then they asking for the fight with Marquez to be at 147.Comment

Because realisticly he would come out 168 and pac being 148. and if trully are boxer you should know the difference. I dare you to get in their with a boxer thats 20lbs heavier than you with all the advantage that he has, i bet your pu$$y ass would say otherwise. Your fawking hate makes you think illogically thats why you wouldnt see the difference.Comment

It's only a fact that Martinez is smaller than Margarito and Hoya. It's not our fault they couldn't hydrate to be heavier right? At the end of the day Martinez IS smaller height and weight wise.
Martinez moved up to MW just like Pac moved up to JMW.
Martinez fought most of his career at 147-154. Pac has titles there......... bottom line.Comment
