Sergio, the problem is that Pac isn't the 154lb champion.

Be realistic, Compubox don't lie it was only a lucky punch...
If ever Pacquiao vs Martinez still believes Pac wins, but nothing to prove...Martinez has more to prove before he levels himself with Pac...

It's only a fact that Martinez is smaller than Margarito and Hoya. It's not our fault they couldn't hydrate to be heavier right? At the end of the day Martinez IS smaller height and weight wise.
Martinez moved up to MW just like Pac moved up to JMW.
Martinez fought most of his career at 147-154. Pac has titles there......... bottom line.

Pac would be better off fighting Williams at 147.
Martinez might have a hard time making 154 these days, but not enough to make up for the 15 - 20 pound weight advantage he'll have over Pac on fight night.
Pac's a guy who could still comfortably make 140 and clean out the division. As great as he is, if he stays at 154, he's going to be beaten by a lesser fighter.

u guys are jokers critisising pac if he doest fight the middleweight champ of the world. Dude was a flyweight and only weighs in at 149 max. How can anyone call that ducking, even sergio said it himself that he felt pac was too small. i see through your alterior motives.

Sergio Martinez: I'll Challenge Pacquiao For His 154 Title
u fail to understand our arument....
sergio martinez was the 154 champ because he beat the people he needed to beat in the division to get belt
in june the belt was taken from him
in november pac beat marg at a catch weight of 150 to get that 154 belt and gets praised for beating a guy who out weighed him by 17.6 pounds.. mind u marg is one fight moved from a suspension and had only one fight at 154 after he got off suspension and before that he got dogged by mosley!
sergio did say pac was too small but now martinez wants to fight for his "154" belt back and aat the same time give pac a chance to get a 9th belt. mind u martinez has been looking real good lately...
now all of a sudden weight is an issue after u dismantle a guy who out weighs u by 17.6 pounds?
this is all we are saying

if sergio is having problems making 158, then this fight isn't happening.

As for Martinez being naturally bigger than them, all three are about the same size and have fought in the same weight classes. Martinez just so happen to be good enough to make his way up to MW and beat the #1 and #2 guys. Do the numbers, Martinez wouldn't weight much more if NOT the exact same as Margirto fight night. Martinez is not that big.
All this fighting "bigger" guys talk and winning an 8th world title at 154 when Margarito's in the corner but when the guy who wants his 154 title back who's a natural WW/LMW steps up everyone backs down and retreats with excuses like He's too good (oops freudian slip), "too big"....
I fully hold Mayweather to these standards. Pac is no different as he is fighting at a weight class higher than Floyd. Its only facts.
