Again the ATG's and legends of Boxing all took risk like this
An older Ali took on an almost invincible looking George Foreman
Robinson gave up 15 plus pounds to and went for Maxim
Langford was legendary for taking of guys who outweighed him by 15-20 plus lbs.
Duran went for Haglar Middleweight strap
and the list goes on and on. With the exception of Ali, most came up short....which is why I feel Manny has nothing to lose. On top of that...those guys, even in defeat, were highly praises.... adding to there legacy for taking on such risk. Even if Manny were to lose, I feel he still wins because we
don't talk about Robinson losing or Armstrong coming up short...rather we praise them for having the balls to even take those risk.

Pac's successful adventure proves his greatness...

actually yes that does make him valid if you have a title at 154 that means YOU are the champion of the 154 division meaning contenders at 154 have the right to call you out.
Miguel Cotto fights at 154 now, meaning 154lbers can call him out.Pac's successful adventure to different higher weight divisions proved his greatness...It was realized in his last fight that he could only weigh at a maximum of 148lbs at fight time which is clearly a welterweight even though he won...A fight with Margarito(165lbs at fight time, w/ a reach & height advantage) is somehow a welterweight vs a super middleweight...So, if ever Pac agrees to fight Martinez at 154lbs still that match will be a welterweight against a super middleweight, expect that Martinez will weigh fight time at 170lbs w/ reach & height advantage...So win or lose, it's nonsense since Pac has nothing to prove anymore...and it doesn't prove Martinez to be great if he wins, but shame to him as a super middleweight for fighting a welterweight...

Martinez on the other hand has been at 154 for quite some time and going down in weight will affect him badly
Not only that but although both are the same size martinez is wider and has more muscle mass then Tony.
150 didnt affect Tony, 150 will affect Sergio a lot and Sergio will most likely show up looking like a sexy corpse.

What's all wrong here is that people are making their own assumptions on whether Pac will fight or not fight Martinez. Then criticize him for something they are assuming he is or isn't gonna do.
Pac already mentioned he's willing to fight Martinez. But wanting something and it actually happening are very different things.
I suggest we all wait and see what eventually happens THEN start the criticism/praise.

Pac fans don't want Pac to fight anyone with movement or counterpunching skills. Its starting to be obvious now.
Come forward fighters only.
I see.

Goes to show what that Margarito fight was all about.
And, maybe just maybe they felt uncomfortable in the ring against somebody that size. That made them decide that no we're too small to be fighting against somebody this size and this weight.
Pac was hit hard in that fight, he even admitted that he was hurt after that fight. He had to cancel appearances because he was still in pain couple of days later after that fight.
So could it be it, that they tried to see how the feel and didn't like and took there small ass back to WW? Is that at all possible?
