You're right. They shouldn't fight. But if anyone is going to take the challenge, it should be Pac and fight Martinez at 160, or close to that. The great fighters moved up and won despite the weight disadvantage.Comment

martinez already said it...pac is too small for him. the guy's got class, it's not just about the money for him. he considers sportmanship and fair play. people should get a dose of reality and stop this pac-martinez nonsense matchup.Comment

I agree with you. If Martinez has to come down to 154 it shouldnt be made. Martinez might do it if the money is right(as most fighters would) but I don't think they should fight at all. Martinez is too big and making him less than his best to even up a fight doesn't interest me at all. Let two fighters fight at their best or don't fight.Comment

Here we go again- Sergio Martinez is the middleweight champion of the world. The man was 176 pounds 30 days out from his fight. That should tell you that he is an athletic 185-190lb man. Martinez is two divisions up from where Manny is now. The guy i is so big and strong he is seriously considering fighting Lucian Bute who could be the best fighter at 168 and 175. Is this what boxing really has come to? I don’t remember anybody ever stating that Marvin Hagler NEEDED to challenge himself and fight Michael Spinks. Or Ray Robinson HAD to fight Ezzard Charles. Man you guys just go overboard sometimes. Floyd never got flack for not fighting Arthur Abraham or Kelly Pavlik. Even Martinez dismissed Manny and said he was too small. In no way am I suggesting its impossible for Manny to win. But no fighter should be held to a standard where they are forced to fight a fighter two divisions higher especially when they have already moved up 10 divisions! I don’t know where you guys get this stuff from.
Well said brother
These guys seriously think it's ducking WTFComment
