back during the pavlik fight there was that poster who kept calling pavlik a skinhead and portraying martinez as some native warrior who would defeat the white man. Yet back when Pavlik had hair and a bit of a tan he could have easily been Sergio's cousin.

why do americans seem to think european = sweden and ireland? most of europe are brown-haired, brown-eyed with mild tans, you dont have to be an albino to have european ancestry just like you don't have to be native to south america to be latino

There are many europeans of mediterranean background are olive skin and don't have straight hair, yet they are white. The whole issue of race is subjective.

no he was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina but he relocated to Spain later in his professional career. Following his loss to Antonio Margarito (his finnacial backers at the time abandoned him and he wanted a fresh start)
