The TS is right in that "latino" is not a race per se, but as far as US Americans are concerned, it is. It's just another way of discrimination, what they're basically saying is we're not white. Putting people like Martinez (mainly white), Trinidad (mainly black), and Vargas (mainly indian) in the same ethnic group makes no sense. It does serve as a way to separate us from WASPs and lump us in with blacks and other "**********".

The problem I have with the pro "White fighter" forum members is a lot of them are clearly racist but try to hide behind their "Pride".

Lets take a look at the different type of members this forum attracts.

Hardcore fan non biased - These fans usually have their favorite fighters mostly the style in the ring but have no alliances to race or country. They are fans of the sport no matter who is fighting.

Nationalistic fan - These fans like boxing but clearly have their bias to their home country be it Mexican/Rican/Cuban/American/Filipino. It's not about color with these guys, they cheer for their countrymen and ain't afraid to show it.

Nationalistic/color fan - A lot of these are African American or Euro White fans, they mostly cheer for the country men who look like them. These fans are very biased but they pretty much stick to cheering for their country men, they won't just cheer for a black fighter or white fighter just because of the color of their skin. They might like Floyd Mayweather but ain't fans of David Haye or Joshua Clottey, they might be a fan of Hatton and Calzaghe but hate the Klitschko's and don't care for Kelly Pavlik.

Color only fan - These are the racist ****s on this site and they try to be sneaky about it, the funny thing about this type of fan is they are mostly white. Have you ever seen a Salvadorian fan openly cheering for an Colombian fighter because they are both brown? You ever seen a black poster who will know every black fighter out there no matter what nationality and claim them as their own? "Felix Trinidad is black because Puerto Rico has 30% African blood, he's pure black that's why I cheer for him" You don't ever see things like that. The thing you do see is a lot of posters here exclusively cheer for white fighters from the Ukrane to the UK to Australia to Germany. They ain't cheering for a fighter because of their culture or language it's purely based on COLOR. They don't even try to hide the fact they are only driven by color, they will always throw out 'Double standards' about how Blacks cheer for their own or Mexicans or whatever but the truth is they are undercover racists who feed their racist ego through boxing.

You see a lot of these type of fans in MMA, they are really blatant about it on those forums. On the boxing forums they are more subtle and sneaky.

Another easy way to spot them is they never cheer for ***ish fighters no matter what.
