Not so sure where Paul goes from here since those type of losses can easily set back your whole career, even not being the same fighter ever again. Paul can fight but it's how he handles this loss, that was a huge blow.

TS is saying that his chin was already dented by previous fights and that's why the punch hurt him so bad.

I disagree. It was just a perfect KO shot.

Williams' problem was that he was so blasé coming in against a guy like Martinez.

in his last 2 fights both williams was badly rocked and put on ***** street. his punch resistance has been gone for a while now because he takes way too many flush shots since he has zero defense and keeps his hands low like a ******

Bullconner, your racist remarks are completely unnecessary and beyond acceptable. For your info, I am white, my wife and children are african american and I am speechless. After all these yrs and all the blood that has been shed, we still have people like you. The world could use less of you and I sincerely hope you may understand how assonine comments like that affect society. God Bless you, and as much as I would love to Sergio Martinez you......I pray your blessed instead. By the way, why would Paul throw a back hand hook without a joab first and with his right hand down. But all credit to Sergio, but for Paul, that is a career altering punch that Paul might npot mentally recover from. Whew. I am still shocked

I think Bully may be onto something. Those kind of KOs are devastating and can end your career. Don't kid yourself. Look at Jermaine Taylor after the first fight with Pavlik. It's not time for Williams to retire yet, but if he can't reach the top again then what is he fighting for? He's set for life more than likely.

That knockout reminded me a lot of Nonito Donaire's KO over Vic. Just each guy falling to the canvass on different parts of their bodies. People may use Darch as an example of someone who rebuilt his career, but look at who he won his fights against after that. Guys with no punching power. Mijares and Kirilov were feather fisted. Williams should probably go after a guy like K9 because I'm not even so sure he can beat Angulo or Kirkland if they get their stuff together.

If Golden Boy is smart, they should match up Saul Alvarez with Paul. Williams could fight him and get a good payday and if he loses, he should retire.

That didn't help Jermaine Taylor. Steward isn't that good of a trainer. Are you gonna try to tell me Andy Lee is a defensively smart fighter after what Vera did to him?
