It was a perfectly placed vicious punch in a fight Williams was being competitive....this is nonsense, I think Williams could go down and dominate at 154...his only two worries would be Kirkland and Angulo

I was just arguing this with my dad....a killer punch early in a fight isn't that bad, just kills your confidence for a while but it's not as bad as recieving a Margarito-Pacquiao type beat down over 12 rounds getting your brain rattled...I rather be put to sleep quick

    Paul can recover

      Good post.

Im anxiously awaiting his next fight. Id like to se a tune up that showcases him fighting taller.

This one was just nasty. Hel I didnt even see it.
Martinez caught him with like 6 or 7 flush lefts before that one even hit him. His face was starting to swell just after the abuse he took in rd 1 alone. Martinez knew what he was doing with the weight thing and he fought up close instead of far away and took away the distance Paul needed to get his punches off.

You have to give it up to my boy Martinez now.....he made Williams look like amateur night

            I disagree.

It's not like he was taking good shots poorly. That was just a perfect lights-out shot he walked onto.

Williams has been a big disappointment, it's true. He fights every fight the same way. You can do that most of the time when you're 6'1 and fighting below 160, but come on, show Martinez some respect. Fight tall and hold your right glove up to block one of those left hands every once in a while. I just see no adaptability in Williams.

I agree but I promise you that the monkey in your avatar is next. I can see a LOT of fighters knocking him out because he's wide open with no power.

Your punch resistance doesnt go after a single punch.
