May vs Margarito = More hype than anything
May vs PWillz = If he get's pass Martinez
May vs Martinez = If he get's pass PWillz
May vs Pac = Excuses, religious, afraid of needles, Team Pac doesn't really wanna see it happen.
I never was sold on the whole Floyd ducking Cotto thing.
Cotto wasn't even ready for Floyd when he moved up to
140 and Cotto was fighting there longer. Both Hatton and
Cotto was at the Gatti fight to be next opponents for Floyd
and both were looking ****** when the camera was in their
face. Cotto didn't even look in the camera. He was focused
watching Floyd dominate Gatti (A fighter Cotto was supposed
to fight if Gatti beat Baldomir). All I know is Arum was singing
this tune when it came to Cotto/Floyd.....

"We're looking for guys like Ricky Hatton and 'Pretty Boy' Floyd Mayweather. So you're seeing now the finishing touches on the emerging superstar, and in 2006 hopefully he will be able to claim the mantle of the real, real superstar."

Hatton emerged as the recognized 140-pound champion with his TKO of Kostya Tszyu June 11. Mayweather, the pound-for-pound king who is also promoted by Arum, stopped Arturo Gatti to claim a junior welterweight title two weeks later.

Cotto against either man would certainly qualify as a super fight, but before either match can be explored seriously, he has to keep winning." Bob Arum.

Floyd said "Paul Williams who"? and Manny said "NO".
After Mosley, Floyd did show interest in fighting Sergio
Martinez. Said it in the ring. Floyd should just keep
      fighting.

      • Here's my whole take on the Cotto/Floyd debate.
To me, Cotto is good but not great. He mostly
relied on his power and pressure. Once you put
somebody in the ring with him that wasn't bothered
by it, hen Cotto was struggling to get by or he loss.
Floyd fought Bruseles, who was trained by Evangelista
Cotto and Sparred with Miguel Cotto and Floyd beat
the crap out of Bruseles AND Cotto was there watching.
Cotto has more skill than Bruseles but they still shared
the same trainer. I too think that the fight should have
happened when both fighters were undefeated but no
way would I have picked Cotto to win. Boxing politics
kept that fight from happening like it is happening in the
sport now. Cotto and Margarito both showed that they
were a lil too limited to totally dominate the stiffer
competition. The match between them was more
of who could impose their will on the other and
        Margarito out willed him.

          1) Fighters like Oscar and Clottey that sit right in front of you.
          2) Bravado fighters that come straight at you trying to over power you like Hatton, Cotto and Cheato.

The last time Manny fought anything close to a sound technician was JMM.
and knocked him down 4 times.

Lol no it wouldn't have, that's an excuse May fans use in order to justify his choices or lack thereof.

                Judah ring a bell?
                How about Gatti?
                Demarcus Corley anyone?

Floyd fans should never talk about anyone fighting damaged fighters coming off losses or fighters with paper belts.

Lol Grus I respect you but c'mon you can believe that someone who is simply "feinting" interest, is the same thing as showing "genuine" interes? Mayweather loves to talk, a lot of it is bull**** because he never follows through.

                    Paul loss to Quintana
Many think he loss to Martinez
and he was not looking too good against Cintron
If PWillz was still unbeaten the fight would've happened. The only way to redeem himself is a big win over Martinez.

To the world, especially with Manny ducking him and him being ranked #2 P4P at the time. I thought he would be tougher.
