    who gives a *****...

    boxing is a sport.

you got proof? I'd like to see it.

the one that was around while wifebeater was "retired".

they are within their rights to do so, but the real is that wifebeater should've fought margarito instead of "retiring" to duck marg/cotto. can't say the same thing about pac cause pac hasn't "retired" and made his return.
LoL, ok man, you're the AllMighty Floyd hater i see. No use in having a real debate, no use. You only see what can be twisted to continue your hate mission..... It's cool.

i'll let it ride till they fight, then we'll see.....

Floyd and Manny fight HYPE fighters now, the bigger the check the better the comp is hyped. Both guys...
You think To Ranked would have allowed a manny martinez fight?

They have been in wars. Eventually you will lose them but you can't then come back and say, "see, they are not the same fighter now".

Floyd should have fought Cotto when Cotto was also undefeated. That would have sealed the deal for Floyd but Floyd preferred to go on vacation!

It's all about risks. There was some risk for Floyd back then but he may have thought the risk was too high.

Now with Manny it may be the same. Eventually, Manny will have 1 too many fights, get softened up enough, lose some of his speed and be ready for Floyd. lol!

So who should wifebeater have fought in 2006???

The answer is so ****in easy and *****s don't just ****en get it:

Wifebeater should've fought them both you dumb ass *****s!!!

When could this fight have taken place??? The fight could've happened when wifebeater decided to retire so that margarito and cotto could beat each other's brains in.
I can't stand idiots like you who think boxing is a sport. Boxing is a business and Floyd had to do what's best for him, his career, and family. Why would he sign a slave deal with Arum to fight Arum's fighter when he could've fought DLH and made more money in one fight than fighting Cotto, Hatton, and Margarita combined.

Arum offered him like 8 million to fight Hatton and he ended up fighting an undefeated Hatton for 3-4 times the original amount Arum offered him a few years ago.

Floyd would not be where he is today if he re-signed with Top Rank because TR was holding him back from being the superstar he wanted to be.

So you're talking **** because he ended up doing what was best for his career at the time and made the most money? That's like me making a ****** thread about Pac not fighting JMM a 3rd time when he had the opportunity to fight DLH for a lot more money.

        You are an idiot.

Didn't he make more money for fighting Baldomir than Arum offered him to fight Margarito? Seems like he made the right choice to me.

remember when mayweather wanted 10 million to fight cotto who was still at 140? why didn't he want to fight him for 2 to 3 times that much when cotto moved up to 147?

floyd actually did beat all the top welterweights via triangle power.

floyd beat marquez who a lot of people thought beat pac so floyd gets credit for beating pac

floyd beat mosley who beat margarito who beat cotto so floyd gets credit for beating them both

look who's left! a lightweight and a 38 year old mosley. perfect!

He was scared of Margarito, that was painfully obvious. He could have easily fought both for huge money, but he just outright avoided Margarito.

And if he's done it before, no reason to believe he wouldn't be doing it now.

Real fighters take the fight no matter what. Even if the other guy is twice your size and has a tendency of demolishing smaller fighters.(Pac-Marg)

Maybe floyd does have the ability, but maybe he doubts himself.

Cotto didn't get the fight because he lived in Puerto Rico and because he wasn't his own CEO.
