Before Zab and Baldi fought, Zab was champ and so was Baldi (Don't remember the commish off top).
The plan was for Zab to get Baldis belt, then fight Floyd for all the marbles. Zabs dumb azz ended up losing, but the plans were set. Zab was gonna be undisputed, but when he lost Baldi became undisputed.
In a nutshell (On paper) Baldi was the MAN!

Baldi was not THE MAN in the division by no means (Neither was Diaz, Oscar, Ricky, "Cotto was a good fight but the 2 pounds was puzzy, Clottey or Margs.
It was all about money, belts and being the man according to the books.

I agree he should have atleast fought Cotto (Pre Brick beating), but margs was nobody at the time (I think we know now how he became SOMEBODY)

Marg loaded and Boosted on God knows what................. 80% chance Marg beats BOTH guys period....

2 reasons he did't figfht Marg..

1. Better biz move.

2. The same reason Manny and team waited for Serg to be stripped. Then sign to fight Marg for his belt right after that.
