I like Cotto, but Margarito makes him quit again!!!!!

Margarito showed Sat that he is the same fighter that he always was. He would have beat most fighters at that weight. He fought the best fighter of this generation and maybe the best fighter that ever lived. I doubt Cotto has the courage to step in the ring with Marg, but if he does...expect the same fight as the first. Marg will pressure him to submittion again. Margarito is back! Cant wait for that fight!!!! Thoughts?

For god's sake margarito is in a hospital with a broken right orbital bone.Hopefully he lives to fight again .When is he suppose to fight again with an injury like that? .His corner could have avoided further injury by protecting their fighter .

#1 - They didn't know the extent of the injury and Marg never once said he was hurt, couldn't see or wanted to quit.

Marg was dominated but it was a good fight because anyone who has ever boxed understands what Marg went through that night.

Respect to both fighters but Manny won every single round and it wasn't even in question.

Marg seemed to hurt Pac in the 6th and later Pac admitted that but other than that it was all Pac.

Nobody's questioning what Margarito went through.


Ultimately, Margarito was dominated. But he put up a competetive fight up until the last third. If you're punching with a guy and hanging in there and giving yourself a fighting chance to land that hurtful punch (for Margarito, it would've been to the body), you're competetive, by definition of the word 'competetive'. If Margarito had landed that shot between rounds 1-8, it wouldn't have been luck.



"Manny won every single round" is an opinion. The fact is that two judges each had him winning at least a round (who won rounds isn't my argument, BTW, just an incidental correction).
