I like Cotto, but Margarito makes him quit again!!!!!

Margarito showed Sat that he is the same fighter that he always was. He would have beat most fighters at that weight. He fought the best fighter of this generation and maybe the best fighter that ever lived. I doubt Cotto has the courage to step in the ring with Marg, but if he does...expect the same fight as the first. Marg will pressure him to submittion again. Margarito is back! Cant wait for that fight!!!! Thoughts?

to me the fight was entertaining, not competitive. with the exception of 1 round.

Sure you did, dude you're trying to say the Cheato vs Pac was competitive. That alone nulifies any sense of rationality or plausability in your posts.

i agree with you the fight wasn't competitive. the only reason it looked competitive was because pac allowed it to be. look at the fourth round where pac landed a monster body shot that had marg hurting for more than a minute pac could've tko'd him there but chose to stop throwing body punches there. he didn't wanna end the fight early and dissapoint people.

It depends if Manny gets Cotto to clinch or not. Pac has the footwork to dance away from most of the danger. You saw what happened to him once Marg had him on the ropes.

Cotto did a good job of countering on the inside early, but he kept back peddaling to the ropes. Is he capable of moving side to side and turning Marg on a constant basis? I don't know. But he might be able to pot shot and clinch, ala Shane Mosley. Because he along with most of the top fighters are levels above Marg in boxing ability.
