Ultimately, Margarito was dominated. But he put up a competetive fight up until the last third. If you're punching with a guy and hanging in there and giving yourself a fighting chance to land that hurtful punch (for Margarito, it would've been to the body), you're competetive, by definition of the word 'competetive'. If Margarito had landed that shot between rounds 1-8, it wouldn't have been luck.
"Manny won every single round" is an opinion. The fact is that two judges each had him winning at least a round (who won rounds isn't my argument, BTW, just an incidental correction).
I mean it was better than Cotto vs Pac but only because Marg is an animal who doesn't stop.
While it was "competitive" he was still dominated because he lost every if not the vast majority of the rounds.

Marg was throwing, he showed heart but Pac DOMINATED that fight with his speed and power.
Respect to both but it's not even close to being the fight of the year, it wasn't even fight of the night. I thought the Sotto vs Jones fight was better and thought Soto got an unfair decision.

Like you, you have this issue which i quoted you on that you refer to the people of puerto rico and the island as: "Foraskin island and the ****** people who live there"
Would you change your mind about that statement? Then if not why would i waste my time trying to change it?
but maybe you are too xenophobic to see my point. you are officiallyOriginally posted by pistol whip View PostXenophobic? Puerto Ricans are American citizens not immigrants! See how I argued my point? Weather you agree or not is of no consequence the fact is i gave a point to back up my claim instead of just making up stories or giving an irrelevent and vague statement.
why should I waste my time with some one who is completely convinced of his stand?
second question:
Would you change your mind about that statement? ---> "Foraskin island and the ****** people who live there"
with regards to your ****** argument that i who came here when i was 12 am not an inmigrant. this is where your gringo ass gets lost. just because we are citizens doesnot not mean we have the same culture as you do. so when we come here for the first time it is in fact a foreing place. thus making us outsiders until we assimilate. but you would not understand that because you are not puerto rican or an inmigrant.
Xenophobe: The first is a population group present within a society that is not considered part of that society. Often they are recent immigrants, but xenophobia may be directed against a group which has been present for centuries, or became part of this society through conquest and territorial expansion. This form of xenophobia can elicit or facilitate hostile and violent reactions, such as mass expulsion of immigrants, pogroms or in other cases, genocide.
The second form of xenophobia is primarily cultural, and the objects of the phobia are cultural elements which are considered alien. All cultures are subject to external influences, but cultural xenophobia is often narrowly directed, for instance, at foreign loan words in a national language. It rarely leads to aggression against individual persons, but can result in political campaigns for cultural or linguistic purification. In addition, entire xenophobic societies tend not to be open to interactions from anything "outside" themselves, resulting in an isolationism that can further xenophobia.
