Pacquiao is...........

The greatest fighter I have ever seen and I have been watching boxing since the early 80's. There has never been a greater fighter in my lifetime and I think he even matches up against the all time guys I wasn't old enough to see.
The way he absolutely destroyed Margarito was amazing. He was so much faster but his power was impressive. He moves in and out so fast and his shots carry so much weight. Even Cotto, who hit Marg flush time and time again, didn't have the power Pac had.
I'm Mexican and proud of my Mexican warriors but Pac is the best fighter I have ever witnessed in my lifetime.
Props to Marg for being a tough SOB, fighting with a broken orbital bone and not quitting or going down when most mortal men would have. Marg is an animal.
Filipino's, you haven't had many great boxers but you might have one of the greatest of all time and when it's all said and done, maybe even the greatest fighter to ever lace them up.
Cong****........
im not even a ******* and i think so as wll

yea, and in order to preserve him, they matched him up perfectly and when floyd mayweather moved up in 2004, they made sure to avoid him for at least another year before cashing out. they even tried to rely on mayweathers legal troubles to get out of it.
gatti honestly wasnt the same but he also wasnt going to war anymore, i think people overrate his mcgirt run because he was largely matched up well, the one exception ill make is when he fought leija after leija beat bojado, however bojado was convincingly underwhelming period.
regardless, after his wars with ward they matched him up, period.Comment

Can you believe you're even having this discussion? I'm reading an old thread now and it's so funny to see what people we're saying then. Anyway, Saturday should have come as no surprise. Now that it's over, someone needs to tell Manny that he can't have another tuneup next. Enough already.yea, and in order to preserve him, they matched him up perfectly and when floyd mayweather moved up in 2004, they made sure to avoid him for at least another year before cashing out. they even tried to rely on mayweathers legal troubles to get out of it.

1. I dont consider Saskul and Hussy wars Hussy is borderline because of the knock down and dirty tactics
2. to me JMM1 is borderline but JMM2 was not a war moreso than a tactical back and forth fight
3. Barrera 1? he dominated that was no war
4. Cotto was intriguing for about 4 rounds then once he dropped Cotto, Cotto changed his plan of attack...not a war
5. I considered the first Morales fight a true war and the second had it's share of momentsComment
