yea, and in order to preserve him, they matched him up perfectly and when floyd mayweather moved up in 2004, they made sure to avoid him for at least another year before cashing out. they even tried to rely on mayweathers legal troubles to get out of it.

Lol, the same Margarito who was off for a year, then looked horrible in his comeback fight against a nobody? The same Margarito who got destroyed by Mosley before the year off?

Yup he was the same had the chin, stamina and the pressure fighting style. Yes the same. Better remember Mosely fought a a Margarito that had to lose 40lbs in 2 months. And fought a 147lbs and was problematic coz of the hand wraps coming into the fight. The Margarito that fought pac was the the focused bigger version coz he had the luxury of weighing in at 150lbs and rehydrating @ 165lbs.

In short Margarito was a better durable version when he fought Pac. Lets put it this way, I'll let pac hit you on the head with his fist with 400 power shots lets see if your still alive after that. Margarito was a well conditioned machine. he sustained a beating but walked to after 12 rounds. a lesser man would have been dead or in a stretcher. It's Just that the skill wasn't good enough when you fight an elite athlete like Pac.
