Anything is possible but I would not bet on it.

As far as location goes for the Hatton vs Mayweather fight... There is more money in it for both fighters if the fight takes place at the Millennium Stadium Cardiff (along with Calzaghe vs Lacy) as is being proposed.

The fight will take place at 2:00a.m. so as to accommodate American PPV prime time tv. There is not substitute for 70,000 Tickets at £75.00 per head. (+ on another note... I'll be able to go!)

On the other hand, I really don't mind if the fight takes place at MSG's. Coz' at least the there won't be any excuses after when Hatton wins. I know that Hatton's not gonna get any credit EVEN if he KO's Mayweather in Manchester. Location seems to play a bigger part to American boxing fans than it does to other fans from other places around the World.

...and you have to agree with them..........haven't you seen fights in germany, the U.K, and other countries where there has been so much bias that there was no point in turning up.....

there could be bias in the states also, but it is definitely not as common as in other countries......in the states most fighters are guaranteed a fair go.....

Yeah, I tend to think that Germany is an acception... It's not like the rest of the World... The corruption and, "all the champion has too do is survive 12 rounds and he's declared the winner" is mostly a one off for that Country.

It's not like that in other places around the World... And I do remember a certain Felix Sturm throwing a spanner in the works when the Yanks were trying to arrange a big De La Hoya vs Hopkins fight.

The same way people underestimate an attacking fighters skill, people always say Hatton is just a brawler!?

                hmm

Cotto fights totally different than Mayweather. Cotto outweighed Corley by 18 lbs so of course he was able to brutalize him. Mayweather however outboxed him way better than Cotto did.

In any case...Hatton's style is similar to Castillo. Also, Hatton is no bigger than Castillo on fight night. Mayweather had problems supposedly with his shoulder in the first fight with Castillo, and lost. The second fight he won fairy, and apparently was healthy. In any case, Floyd has 24 rounds with Castillo and that is more than enough to be ready for Hatton's style. Floyd would beat Hatton, 8 rounds to 4.

Even if one is to claim Hatton is better than Castillo, it could only be a tiny bit better and not enough to say that Floyd would lose, seeing as how Floyd convincingly beat Castillo the 2nd go-round.

                Floyd UD Hatton.

It has little to do with location at all. Americans are no more concerned about location than the next. It's fairness they are concerned about. As long as it is reffed and scored fairly, then it's ok. Also, the challenger, in the end, shiuld not demand that the champ comes to them to fight, which is why Hatton is lucky that tszyu did that, but also why Hatton now has the right to fight in England to maintain his title.

After Lacy/Reid, nobodies gonna convince Hatton to come over, that was a disgrace.

I dont feel sorry for Sturm, even though its not his fault i'm glad the German fans know what it feels like, that fight was a hell of a lot closer than most of there's too.

Germany is the worst place any boxer could visit, its an exception to my "who gives a **** about location" attitude.
