you could say so, i think he beat pacquiao in the 2nd fight for sure. JMM is probably a technically better fighter, but pacquiao is faster, stronger and just has something about him that says he can win any fight at any time with 1 punch.

Like i said, would be an f-in good fight.
marquez has no chance in hell against this version of pac. You need to stop reliving the past. Pacquiao is on another level to the one that fought at featherweight.

I said I disagreed in my first answer.

          Pac is greater.

At the time of the quote I agreed.

It then turned into a skill and intelligence debate.

I think Marquez is a better fighter than Pacqiauo in terms of them fighting each other, i scored the first fight a draw and the 2nd fight a clear desicion for Marquez and i truely believe if they had a rubber match directly after the one in 2008 Marquez would have won even more convincingly.

However, in terms of achievement, its not even close. Maybe in 2008 it was arguable to an extent, but now since Pacqiauos run at 140 and 147, its a wrap, Pacqiauo has the better acheivments and will be ranked higher and rightfully so.

I also still believe if todays Pacqiauo and todays Marquez weighed 130 comfortably Marquez wins. Just my opinion.

Give JMM credit he did just about as good as he could have done against Pac. But you cant make a whole career up just by how well he does against Pac. JMM wouldnt have sparked hatton out in 2 rounds. JMM wouldnt have the ability to pulverize Cotto like Pac did. JMM wouldnt shut out Clottey like Pac did, i think you get my drift etc, etc etc.

Marquez is a great fighter. He just couldn't do some things that Manny could.

                  At 135 maybe.

                  140+ Marquez goes to sleep.

Marquez is a great fighter no doubt but he's not on Pac level. I'm not talking about skill wise because he's skill wise he's very good, i'm talking about his ATG status. He's no where close to Pac. In order for him to be that great he has to be beating welterweights LOL. I'm sorry but Pac has set a new standard for ATG and that's being a 6-7 divisions champ.

                      do you agree? and why?

let's make this a good discussions with valid arguments.
His greatest accomplishments are close fights with Manny Pacquiao. Beating Diaz isn't exactly an exclusive club at this stage.
