Calzaghe threw 100 more than Kessler in their fight. Ward did the same in fewer rounds. Hmmm ...

Let me tell you this, you definitely know someone's close to being a boxing fraud when they're being compared to someone that's fought half as much as they have, yet taken on near enough the same level of competion.

      End of thread.

Absolutely. Ward beats him, no doubt. Ward and Dirrel both beat him. Calzaghe is a volume puncher and Ward would have no problem beating him.

Remember that the Joe Calzaghe that fought Hopkins was at 175 where it was also his first time, and Hopkins literally acted in the ring.
Ward doesn't just hit and hold. This is the thing about Andre, he doesn't just have one style and he's as capable of adapting from round to round as Calzaghe, moreso IMO because I believe he has deeper wrinkles in his game to draw on. It's the combination of intelligence, a diverse range of tangible boxing skills, ring-maturity in advance of his years, steel mentality and athleticism that makes him tough for anyone to get a grip on at this point, and he's not even peak yet.

There's no way he doesn't give Calzaghe a rough time. Andre Ward is not a Charles Brewer or a Robin Reid, and he's certainly not a Jeff Lacy or a Byron Mitchell.

            I agree. I can't respect Calzaghe's resume either.

Well, we'll see I guess ... Ward's facing Bika next, guess we'll find out just who 'is' stronger. You should remember appearances ain't everything, once you enter that squared circle it's a whole different ball game.

Speed? Where was the mention of speed. Most fights are based on how you prepare and mental ability. Ward possesses both, his arsenal is packed with attributes that'll give Calzaghe fits.

The "headbutts" stuff is corny. Ward's fists are what beat Kessler, repeatedly, in the face. YOU chat rubbish. Quit bumsniffing Gorilla Dogs and actually watch the guys you're talking about.

I'm a huge fan of Froch, but Ward will have him in his pocket all night. Abraham I give more of a shot because of his one-punch threat, but I don't fancy his chances much, either.

Anyway, how come you haven't brought your Hatton >>> Cotto agenda to NSB, homer?
Lol I feel sorry for you, the same guy who spent months saying how cotto is superior in every way to pac even when logic was shown.

Anyway, last post from me on this, its pretty clear you have wards ass cheeks between your nose so think what you want. I will be here to remind you when the cheating headbut king gets the **** knocked out by abraham or froch when they fight in a neutral venue

You have no clue whatsoever about boxing, so funny to watch, lmao your own posts show you had oscar to beat pac, hatton to beat pac, cotto and clottey to beat pac

no doubt you will lie and deny it, but your posts show otherwise

once again, keep your **** man love for ward out of this and actually watch the fighters before judging
