ROFL at TS... fail written all over his posts. How can Mayweather beat Khan? You're such an idiot honestly, you admit that you don't know much about Khan yet you watch him vs Malignaggi(Current C/B- fighter) and you think he can beat Mayweather? Seriously exactly what sport are you watching? I hope you don't mean Floyd Mayweather Jr, here I'm hoping you mean Mayweather Sr because of how ****** this thread is. Khan has yet to prove himself, he needs to dominate the 140 division and at least 1 tune up in the 147 division to even consider Mayweather - even by then Mayweather would be out of his prime. Knocking out Floyd???? DUDE..... HE COULDN'T EVEN KNOCK DOWN PAULIE and you're talking about the best defensive fighter in the game right now. What 'division' are you talking about anyway? 140 or 147? Not like it matters. TS do yourself a favor and stop posting.Last edited by Phil Ivey; 10-30-2010, 10:24 PM.Comment

I'll take your advice. I'm tired of being talked down to for no reason.
It's sad that you people call yourself boxing fans and can't even talk or think boxing, other than what the media and the hype leads you into thinking.
I have no respect for people who can't think for themselves or who degrade someone who tries to anyway.Last edited by DARKSEID; 10-31-2010, 12:30 AM.Comment

It's great you're thinking yourself but you're comparing a P4P veteran to a talented guy who has the POTENTIAL of being P4P #1 someday but has yet to test himself in the 140 division. Your assessment is based on his fight with Malignaggi which is highly ****** and mark my words if Khan fights Mayweather either in 2011 or 2012 he's going to get the crap beaten out of him. Funny you mention hype, Mayweather is no hype, Khan on the other hand is debatable. To put in simply, your facts to back up your opinion is far from sufficient. Lets wait until Khan wipes the 140 division (if he can) and beat a legitimate 147er. I don't think its fair to compare Khan to Mayweather atm, which is why people is taking this thread as a joke.I'll take your advice. I'm tired of being talked down to for no reason.

I'll say that Khan has the tools to beat Floyd. Speed and the more importantly the jab. Floyd really has incredible timing and quickness. The jab can throw off timing if Kahn keeps it going all night long. Floyd also likes to jump in with the lead right or left hook and then hold so his opponent can't get off. A constant jab can nullify this as well.
What Kahn can't afford is to get ****** into Floyd's game. He can't try to play the out quicking/thinking game. Kahn also would need to keep his punch output up. If it drops into the 40-60 punch per round range that means Floyd is dictating pace. With Floyds accuracy and defence, you just can't effectivly fight him there. One more consideration to take in is Floyd's ability to adapt. You better have a plan B and C.
I think Kahn could do it. Zab beat Floyd to the punch for 5 or so rounds and Castillo gave him all he could handle in their first fight, so it can be done. Even an older Mosley cracked him. Kahn also has the right guy in his corner to gameplan but it is still no easy task.
Let's see if Kahn can make it through the gauntlet he has in front of him and make it out on top of 140, then think about Floyd. Who knows, maybe Floyd will be damaged goods if Pac gets ahold of him in May.Comment
