The jab can throw off timing if Kahn keeps it going all night long. Floyd also likes to jump in with the lead right or left hook and then hold so his opponent can't get off. A constant jab can nullify this as well.

What Kahn can't afford is to get ****** into Floyd's game. He can't try to play the out quicking/thinking game. Kahn also would need to keep his punch output up. If it drops into the 40-60 punch per round range that means Floyd is dictating pace. With Floyds accuracy and defence, you just can't effectivly fight him there. One more consideration to take in is Floyd's ability to adapt. You better have a plan B and C.

I think Kahn could do it. Zab beat Floyd to the punch for 5 or so rounds and Castillo gave him all he could handle in their first fight, so it can be done. Even an older Mosley cracked him. Kahn also has the right guy in his corner to gameplan but it is still no easy task.

Let's see if Kahn can make it through the gauntlet he has in front of him and make it out on top of 140, then think about Floyd. Who knows, maybe Floyd will be damaged goods if Pac gets ahold of him in May.
Thanks u for making sense... This thread is RIDICULOUS!

Except I don't believe in the if a guy loses he's damaged goods threory... In some cases it happens, but more often than not, guys bounce back...

How many times has Shane Mosley bounced back? What about Marquez?

Back in the day, Tommy Hearns lost his share of big fights, he won his share too...

That theory holds true for a select few...

I was just talking trash about the damaged goods thing. I have to stop doing that. I do respect Floyd's skills.
