  • Fact that Pacquiao went on TV and claimed to have "Agreed to testing all the way up" And we just find out he didnt really bugs me... He need to lie so he wouldnt get question on why he was fighting Margarito and by lying that he agreed to OST he would have made it look like Mayweather was the one who duck the fight.

No wonder Team Mayweather claimed there was NO negotiation, No wonder Mayweather said he was on Vacation, If you going to comeback with 7 days then NO negotiation Period!!!

Apples to oranges? Correct me if I'm wrong, don't some steroids contribute to muscles mass and weight gain? Again, correct me if I'm wrong, please.

flip, huh? Mayweather wanted 10oz gloves at '54.... he had to concede to Pacquiao since they agreed to 8oz gloves and the '47 limit. Now you're just using hypothetical reasoning. Continue...

Okay so Pacquiao is 3-0 at the negotiating table. Mayweather doesn't get one concession. That's fair.
Wow, you are comparing an actual cheating in the scales that happened with a steroid accusation based on a su****ion without even a scientific proof other than how he looked in the fight...

Whether he got bigger or had more muscles, the point is that, its still not proven.. Su****ion wont stick on the courts.

What ... Mayweather last fight prior negotiatation was at 147, .. Mosley-Mayweather was at 147...how the hell is that hypothetical..

The $10 Million penalty was justified because no fighter(not Pac, Hatton, Dela Hoya, Cotto, JMM) has ever cheated on a mega fight before. Thats why you have that insurance....

What a concession.. How the hell would Pac benefit from those concessions..

So why did Pac make Erik Morales agree to a penalty? Had Morales ever failed to make weight?

Thats not the point..The point is that the stipulated weight in the contract was not honored by Floyd.. Meaning he violated the terms of the contract.. We are talking about contract points here, right? It doesn't matter whether it was 145 or 147.. He paid his way out of that stipulation. Thats the point...

The reality is, public opinion is in favor of Pac. Look at the media blitz he's getting, he's on major networks being praised and being interviewed, he's got commercials, even other athletes are big fans of Pac. I can't say the same for Floyd, guy is looking at jail time, he's on the news for all the wrong reasons, he's regarded as a duck, and he's a self-proclaimed bad guy and everybody (except his groupies) hates him, and he's a b!tch.

              Perception is reality.

5 years from now, people will look back at Manny and reflect how great an athlete and public figure he was and how he represented the sport of boxing. 5 years from now, Floyd will be broke again and forced to come back from "vacation" and fight blown-up LWs.
Bonds got press. McGuire got press. A-Rod got press. Sosa got press. Merriman got press. Marion Jones got press. Caminiti got press. Tim Montgomery got press. Loads more have got press. You know what though? Years after their careers ended (and a few whilst still competing today), the truth came to light.

What we do know is Josie Harris pulled the same deal back in '03. We also know that as she testified under oath in court during that time, she stated that she lied about the whole assault case that she filed against Mayweather because she was jealous that he left her for somebody else. You know what's so weird, that same chick is filing the same complaint at the same time that she found out Mayweather was marrying another woman. Coincidence?

There's a thing about media.... it's called uhhhh, bias. Mayweather's never been embraced by the media because he's taken the route that boxing PR didn't want him too. You know what though? Boxing doesn't like the guy, you don't like the guy, the majority don't like the guy, and the ironic part is that you still buy his fights and if you don't, well, you still devote you dear ol' important time to watch his fights. The truth stands that you have the privilege to not only hate, but witness the greatest fighter of this era.

Perception is reality? By public opinion, everybody perceived LeBron as being the next MJ. Was he? Great logic!

Because he was a Featherweight fighter who was being forced to move up to fight Morales at 130. The same reason why JMM had a weight clause against Floyd..Morales was the one dictating the terms in that contract. Arum was Morales promoter so they were calling the shots.

No, he had those terms in for the third bout when Pacquiao was dictating terms. And Pacquiao was forcing Morales to fight at a weight he didn't want. How about you stop making **** up and either answer with an HONEST response or get your dumbass off this thread?

Mayweather fought DLH at '54, Hatton at '47. Pacquiao says after the fight with Cotto if they don't get Mayweather then they may make the jump to '54 and go for a world title. That's when Mayweather requested to take the fight to '54. At that time, Sergio Martinez was WBC interim titleholder though. That's when Pacquiao said to bring it back to '47. So, Mayweather obliged.

I say hypotheticals because you make it seem as if Mayweather would come in at 149 when he's able to make '47. You say that's not a concession because he "cheated" so he should. Keyword, should, but he didn't have to agree to that, he chose to agree to Pacquiao's penalty stipulation, it's that simple. Concession: granted.

I am referring to the first fight.. There were 3 fights, remember? And Morales was already having weight problem even in their first fight. However Pac was also at disadvantage because he was the guy coming from the lower weight class. However in the first fight, it was Morales who had leverage but chose 130. This was his choice and because his profile was higher compared to Pac at that time, Pac had no choice but to agree.

The third fight moron was a rematch clause from the second fight.. Morales exercised his rights to fight Pac for a rubber match. The stipulation of the contract was already setup and the same for all 3 fights with the difference being the purse split, and the gloves. Ofcourse, it can be changed because its not signed but if you want to know the truth, Pac had leverage this time considering that it was Morales who was coming out from a KO loss.

This is different from Pac and Floyd. Neither of them has leverage over the other.

So who is making things up now.
