Anyway, this is such a ****** ****ing thread. Anyone, and I mean anyone, who thinks Pac has the most minute of chances in this fight are simply completely deluded against reality.
Hearns was over 6 foot. He had as much speed as Pac. He had the power to knock out CW's, LHW's, MW's, JMW's and nearly everyone at WW.
Let me ask all you great, knowledgeable Pac fans that think he has a chance this question; What is the punch Pac is most likely to get hit with? Jab and right hand you say? Wow! Ok, so what is the consensus among historians and experts as to what is probably the hardest, fastest, most devastating right hand shot in all of boxings long history.
You guessed it! The Hearns right hand. The one that blizted the unknockoutable Roberto Duran in two rounds (who had a hell of a lot better chin and defence that Pac could dream of having). The one that knocked down Ray Leonard, nearly put Hagler out and absolutely destroyed fighters twice the size of Pac.
He is great, there is no denying that. But, to claim he has the slightest chance of beating Hearns is just ******. It's highly arguable that in a twelve round WW fight, no one in the history of the sport could beat Tommy Hearns and trust me when I say Pac gets ****ed up and knocked out in about four rounds at the most. He does not survive this fight. Many others he would and against other ATG WW's he might even have a chance of winning. This fight though, he gets knocked out in.
The first hard right hand puts him on ***** street and then when Tommy goes nuts (as he does) he lands a the next one and Pac goes down and stays down. This particular fight is the worst possible match up at 147 for Pac without a doubt. He ate great fighters up at 147. Only Leonard could last the distance in a brutal war enough that Hearns exhausted himself and just didn't have the energy to last in a fight he was winning in.
The thing here is that you had a guy with every single weapon in the book, all at the very, very highest level that would give Pac the worst trouble of all. Counter puncher, freak right hand, jab and left hook to the body, all powerful enough to put anyone out. He also happened to be over six ****ing foot tall!
In Tommy Hearns you had a ridiculously highly skilled counter puncher, a guy who could box the socks off Ray Leonard, brawl with anyone and 98% of the time win, but most importantly; you had a guy who was insanely fast (just like Pac) with the boxing skill, speed, height and power to shame nearly every fighter fighting today not named Hopkins/Mayweather.
Please, don't bring up Hearns' chin. If you say something that ******, all you are doing is telling everyone here you have never watched Tommy Hearns. His chin was good and never gave him the slightest issue at 147 and 154. It wasn't until 160 and up that he ever had any problems and those problems were only with either the biggest punchers of the era at 160 in Barkley and arguably the greatest MW of all time in Hagler.
I ****ing hate this absurd threads.
Educate yourselves with a short highlight ****s.

Hearns would take Pac's head clean off.
