and manny loses to shane mosley?

come on son. i disagree with pacdbest but you obviously don't know what your'e talking about.
That's my entire point, kid. I wasn't speaking literally, like "he didn't have a fight at 140." I'm saying he fought a nobody. He had ONE fight against a nobody at 140, and no other top contenders. Ricky was washed up and at the end of his career, and you want to talk like that's some kind of great win and is a testament to Manny's greatness?

Cotto was the best ww at the time? Really? I guess I don't know what I'm talking about because I believe Shane Mosley is better, Paul Williams is far better, of course Floyd, and even Andre Berto.

We all know how Arum does business, so just the fact that Manny was put up against Cotto TELLS us that Cotto was not the best fight at 147 - because if he were, Arum would not have given him that fight.

You can't spin it as if Manny has actually fought top contenders at any weight about 135 - he has not. Cotto was a decent win, but to be honest, I never gave Cotto much of a chance in that fight.

      Compubox stats:
"Pacquiao threw 1,231 punches to Clottey’s 399. The jab was a non-entity for both as Pacquiao landed just 14 of 549 (3 percent) to Clottey’s 26 of 162 (16 percent) while the power punches proved to be everything as Pacquiao went 232 of 682 (34 percent) to Clottey’s 82 of 237 (35 percent)."

Clottey only landed 16% of his jabs and only landed 35% of his power punches. So you're talking rubbish.

Your posts in this thread have been pretty clownish. Compubox isn't perfect but it isn't a joke either. He missed plenty.

We have idiots saying that Hearns is going to get KO'd by Pacquiao and my posts in this thread are clownish? Which claims exactly are clownish?

They are clownish too. Nuthuggers like them and haters like you are cut from the same cloth as each other. Claiming he has fought only nobodies from 140 up is just ******. And claiming Clottey landed at will is a gross exaggeration.

So to be clear you believe that the Hatton, DLH, Clottey and Cotto were all live opponents at the top of their game when they fought Pacquiao?

If so then this debate is closed as your opinion has no merit.

I'm not a hater but to have a thread with people saying Pac KO's Hearn's is ludicrous. I like pacquiao, but this thread is ridiculous.

The thread is ridiculous and your claims are equally so. Hatton, Cotto and Clottey may not have been at the top of their games but they were certainly live opponents and if you seriously don't think they were then your opinion has no merit, and is certainly not shared by any boxing experts. All three of them were still highly ranked by all boxing experts at that time. In their respective divisions, Hatton was ranked #1, Cotto was ranked #2 and Clottey was ranked #4. And De La Hoya was favoured to win by most boxing experts even after the weigh-in - see here if you don't believe me.

Look Hearns got Koed by Barkley, The same Barkley who the smaller & Older Duran beat. I know Hearns KOed Duran. But his chin will not hold up to Pac.

Pac chin at 130-147 was Proven Granite. He took a Flush one from Cotto and Pac just told him, "Let's get it on". What will happen when Hearns land a Flush Right to Pac and Pac just **** his Gloves and Pac say," cmon.. That's all u got?"

What if Pac connects that Hatton's Retirement punch into Hearns chin? You think Hearns chin will hold up?

The thing about this is... That won't happen. Pacquiao takes a flush right from Hearns he goes down. Despite wut u may think, Cotto's left hook might as well be Foreman's jab (Yuri, not George) when comparing him to Hearn's straight right.

dude...am i really reading the nonsense i see in this thread??? u dudes are like kids with action figures who think ur action figure beats all the other kids action figures. pac isnt an action figure, he isnt superman. u cant make up imaginary feats that pac can accomplish.

if pac and hearns fought 100 times, im sure hearns wins at least 90 of those fights. if u dont think so, then u have never seen hearns fight. and the joke is on u. the comments in this thread are embarrassing.
